Sams Deli in West Somerset

Sam has lots of good food to eat in or take away.My personal favourite being a Ham Salad sandwich. But he also has fantastic Pasties and Sausage Rolls. The Pork pies are just Devine, none of that soggy Pastry ! Always get a friendly welcome in Sam's !

Amazing independent deli. Please don’t try the hommity pies or if you do leave one for me. Good pastry is hard to find and the pastry is beautiful

if anyone ever asks me what the best sandwich I've ever had was, its Sam's delis bacon sandwich with bbq sauce. also + points because the workers were humming castaways. also it was an extremely reasonable price

I am so chuffed with this beautiful cheese box that my colleagues organised for Secret Santa. The quality and selection is fantastic.

What a fab find. We had a coffee and a hot chocolate. My other loves his coffee and said it was a good bean. My hot chocolate was rich and very tasty. The icing on the cake had to be the scotch egg, omg it was fab, can see why the sign says Sam's famous scotch eggs. We also got a bar a chocolate, Caramel sea salt, it was delicious. Would recommend this little gem.

Sausage roll and hunza pie were tasty enough offset by grumpy chef who despite us trying to order a panini at 13.55 claimed the kitchen closed at 14.00 with hot food orders having to be placed by 13.45 'it says so on the notice on the door'. Another customer asking for a sandwich also turned away. Beggars belief that after the lockdown closures this jobsworth attitude prevails as England tries to get back on its feet. Surley a 'deli' should serve all food throughout the day. Time to get a new chef Sam!

Amazing and friendly place. I visited twice in the weekend I was there but the staff are super friendly and the pasties are really good. They heated it up just as I wanted. Wish I had tried a few more things there such as the oils and vinegars

Absolutely fantastic friendly customer service, she could not have been more helpful with our choices of food or how it was served. The food was incredible and the place nice and clean. Prices were fantastic too. Can't praise this place highly enough. The attention to fulfilling the customers needs were exceptional. Good old fashioned customer service, brilliant! And she gave us what was left of the olives. Great stuff thank you.

Our visit to Watchet was made 100 times better by visiting this place, the cooking food smell coming out of the shop was enough to pull you in. The choice of sandwiches were endless and made to order. I had the Best Sandwich ever. £3.odd for a cheese and chutney sandwich with stacks of fresh salad and chunks of cheese. I can't say it enough, but if you are near this place it's a must for your lunch.

Great deli selling local cheeses, cooked meats and hot/cold pies. Their freshly made to order sandwiches are fabulous and their to go coffee has plenty of flavour. The staff are also very pleasant and helpful.
