The whole family had Mothers Day lunch at The Smugglers today. It was such a lovely experience, relaxed, friendly, the food was fabulous, amazing yourkshires! 10 out of 10! Highly recommend 😊

Friendly pub, helpful staff. Nothing too much bother. Also restaurant, great choice and affordable. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed for two nights and had a total of 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts and 1 lunch whilst we were here. The food was some of the best pub food we have ever had and you can’t complain at the price- excellent chef! The room was lovely and big enough for all of us as a family of 4 with two in travel cots! Staff are wonderful and the hospitality was flawless.We will back but maybe without the children so we can enjoy the lovely pub in the evenings!Thank you :)

The whole place was freezing and Had to keep our coats on. Had to wait 3/4 hrs for Sunday Lunch. Had roast beef. Beef very stringy and inedible. Potatoes burnt. Did complained and had a refund. It used to be our favourite pub but since having changed ownership 2 years ago the standards are not as good.

Lovely pub, unassuming but great vibes. Food was amazing - biggest chunky chips I’ve ever seen. The staff were super nice and even brought their puppy to see us 😍

Had 2 meals here this weekend, both fantastic, the burger and chips are amazing, the roast today was beautiful. Friendly staff and lovely old pub, highly recommend this place, stunning food.

We visited on a Sunday evening and found they only serve fish and chips which was a little odd for the time, but we went with it. It was average at best. The fish was ok but the chips (about a dozen of them) were chunky but seriously overcooked, to the point they'd lost all texture and taste and were just oil sponges and tasted of burnt cooking oil. And having the local radio blaring out the top 40 didn't help the atmosphere.It would seem the rest of the week is ok but I'd avoid Sunday evenings.

Just arrived back at caravan following a stunning meal. Very welcoming, friendly, food cooked to perfection and all home made. Dog friendly. Hope to go back before we have to return home.

Had a lovely Sunday Roast. Great pub and reasonably priced. Lovely secluded back garden as well which is dog friendly. Would definitely come back here again.

Really friendly and welcoming atmosphere and staff. Actual 'child-size' portions for children and happy to accommodate dietary requirements without fuss. Maybe a little more expensive than we thought it would be, but would go back.
