Absolutely beautiful food. Not long moved to Bridgwater so was looking for a Sunday dinner when family were visiting and the carvery was spot on. All meat was perfect and a VERY generous portion. Definitely great value for money and my 2 year old loved his extra Yorkie. Will 100% be returning.

First visit was for a birthday celebration. Easy to find, good car park, warm welcome, cosy but spacious with conservatory for dining only. Food selection varied and exciting with a hot rock cook-it-yourself option for beef steaks and fish - looks fun! Cocktails too and desserts to die for. Reasonbly priced. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I had a lovely meal here. The food was top restaurant quality, the staff were very friendly. What I like about the babbling brook is that it’s still a nice little pub, you can still pop in for a pint after a walk. I can recommend.

I went here for my work experience in college. The kitchen was dirty and the chef's drank on the job, quite a lot. The cellar and shelves where they kept the food products were filthy. The owner would let their kids run around the busy restaurant in their nappy. Do not recommend

Wonderful meal - hot rock veggie , and great friendly service. Well worth travelling to, but check if reservation needed first.

Nothing is ever to much trouble for the staff at the babbling brook. My husband did not like any of the starters on the candel light menu.he was happy to go with out, but the staff spoke to the chef and this was resolved.we could not fault the meal or the service provided in any way, thank you for a lovely meal.

Best pork belly in the South West. Had this week the 21st October lunch at Babbling brook, very friendly welcome. Had table booked in the conservatory with a nice view over the garden. We had ordered the famous pork belly dish. Very tender, great taste and plenty meat, nice piece of crackling next to it. Deserve 5 stars. Price very reasonable, service top. Thanks

Great local pub, felt so welcome. One of the best Sunday Roasts we ever had for sure! Desserts were spot on as well! Highly recommend!

I visited with my family whilst on a recent holiday as I had read good reviews. However I was very disappointed. The decor was poor and the clientele rowdy. My fathers starter arrived incorrectly so I ate my starter alone while we waited for his to arrive. My main was a very tasteless pizza with a underdone doughy base and toppings that looked and tasted like they were from a tin, no seasoning or herbs. I ate less than half and I love pizza! The waitress, as pleasant as she was, approached my father twice while he was still clearly eating to ask if he had finished yet. It took 45 minutes for the mains to arrive and when it did we felt rushed. When asked for feedback we said the meal was not up to standard we offered an apology but we weren’t offered any discount. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
