The staff were polite friendly and professional. As a family it can be tricky finding somewhere with good food atmosphere and family(incl dog) friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. The food was simply fantastic and it's fantastic that they support the apprentices and give them fantastic hands on experience

Popped in for a coffee - quiet. Nice flat white - strong and not overwhelmed by milk, tho' service was a bit down despite me being 1 of only 2 people there. The loos were also very good!Clean and clean just cleaned.

Popped in after a long, seemingly endless bus journey from Taunton, on a rainy and miserable dayThe mocha was nice AND hot, and the service, for once, fast. But as always, goodNot many people around, which is my preference.I know that having dogs in bars, restaurants, etc is almost de rigeur nowadays, but not for those of us who have allergic reactions, particularly when you have asthma as well.....Back on my "visit again" list.

Sunday lunch was fantastic. Best we've had in minehead and will be sure to return again. Shame we couldn't fit in pudding...

So glad we chose the Beach Hotel for our trip to Minehead. We had a lovely restful stay in a big, comfortable room with a sea view. The staff were very friendly and thoughtful and the whole place was recently refurbished in a bright seaside style and immaculately clean. Food was also excellent; can thoroughly recommend the veggie breakfast! We will definitely be back.

Room was clean, with plenty of space to move around, chairs to sit on., Ensuite bath with shower over.Couple minors side lights not working, extractor fan not working.Breakfast pre ordered night before, but still waited 50 mins for it!!!.Overall good value for money

My brother stayed here and found the standard very good. I found the staff pleasant and helpful. We joined the party for Sunday breakfast. The food was good but the service was very slow. Probably because it was Sunday

The food here was really good and very good portion size. The food was of great quality and we really enjoyed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable and service was really good too. Was not far from beach so great location.

We only went for the food to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We walked out feeling quite disappointed. The food was really lovely, 5 stars but everything else felt half heartedly. As soon as we were given our menus, we weren't given all that long to look at them properly before the waitress came over and said "Can I take your orders now please", said in a way that it felt like we were taking too much of her time. The cocktails were a real disappointment for the price. I had the Mojito.Almost £8.. for a shot of rum, with a ton of ice in a small glass a bottle of lime & mint juice and a few raspberries. It wasn't a cocktail in the slightest, in my opinion. The main food came out when we were still eating out starters. The same waitress tried to take our plates away before we could finish eating. And then going to pay at the bar, I felt like I was given the daggers and being slightly avoided at the same time.though, I definitely recommend.
