The Cod Shop in West Somerset

Nice fish and chips just up from sea front. Had small cod and chips with mushy peas. Partner had fish cake. Ate outside on colourful tables under umbrella, but restaurant inside at back as well.

Such a lovley chippy with very nice fish! Service to the table outside which was lovely, best chippy in minehead!

Ordered bone in chicken breast, was given chicken nuggets. Ordered 2 pickled eggs, was given pickled onions. Food tasted decent, but would prefer to be eating what I ordered. Even double checked order with the gentleman serving me.

Best fish and chips we have had for a long time, fresh and hot, delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. We took ours out to eat along the seafront but they had a lovely seating area also spotlessly clean and seating and benches out front for nice days. Would recommend and we will visit again.

Lovely! I had cod obvious choice partner had plaice both were gorgeous cooked fresh and a big portion for the price, definitely recommend. They are not on the sea front, but they are much better, and just a short walk up high Street, there's seating outside also.

Excellent fish and chips made by 2 great Birmingham lads. They do take away and eat in, nice clean restaurant.
