The Crown Hotel in West Somerset

Lovely welcome and friendly atmosphere, room really nice and clean as was rest of the establishment.Good pub food at a fair price .Breakfast very nice.Bed very comfortable.Would I stay there again YES .Thanks for a enjoyable stay.Some wonderful walks , try the of valley of rocks or two rivers meet.

Great friendly service from the FOH team, meals very tasty especially the pate , although somewhat large portion sizes (which is a good thing in most respects) but just too much for me. Well recommended a visit.

We found the Crown Hotel by chance whilst looking, fruitlessly as it turned out, for somewhere where fresh oysters could be found. There were no oysters at the Crown but the staff there were welcoming and, always a good sign, it is obviously favoured by some of the "locals". The establishment was clean and the fare offered was by our experience best described as decent "pub food" which was accordingly, reasonably priced. If we were still in the area we would undoubtedly return to the Crown Hotel to enjoy its hospitality.

Wonderful family get away.Rachel & Lee went over and above to accommodate us and make us feel at home.The room was very comfortable and spacious with a nice view out across Lynton.We ended up eating all our meals in the hotel, the daily specials were a highlight for us and the Cheesecake was absolute heaven .The breakfast was outstanding and set us up for a long days walking on the Saturday.The décor is smart but also friendly and inviting and exceptionally clean !!!I cant recommend this place highly enough and we have already booked to come back in the new year.

We called in a little late for a Sunday lunch, but even though we had arrived late the chap at front of house was most accommodating. The Sunday roast for £9.95 was one of the best we have had and we barely had room for the cheesecake. Three hungry walkers were well and truly happy. Thanks you

Amazing food. Gorgeous decor. Very accommodating, allowed me to tweak menu options to suit my tastes. Would love to stay here in the future as we only went for a meal on this occasion.

We received a warm welcome at the Crown Hotel, the tea was plentiful and exactly what was needed.Food served looked fresh and delicious, and the staff were really friendly.The jewel in the Crown of this hotel was the ladies toilets. Love the decorations. (Go and check it out!)

Excellent hotel. Comfy beds,good food, friendly and attentive staff. We had a family room which came with a four poster bed and a separate area for our daughter to sleep in.

Just fantastic. We arrived tired and knackered after walking from Porlock and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and really clean. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. They were even able to lend me tweezers to remove a tick.
