Really welcoming bar / restaurant. Nice pub grub with options for children, all of which was served promptly. Large outdoor climbing frame. Good selection of drinks. Come here as a family and would visit again.

Really delicious food and a good.range on the menu. Lovely place area outside which kept children happy and a really nice airy feel inside. Will definitely go again if in the area and would highly recommend

Friendly staff. Nice beer. Great outdoor space for kids to play. Reason why 3 ☆ is the amount of people smoking in kids play area. My little girl spent half her time holding her breath when getting her drink. Should be a separate place for smokers

Food was nice, establishment its self was nice. Great play area for kids. Some staff great, others not as friendly. Ladies toilets were not nice at all - hopefully that was just a 1 off on the day I visited.

A standard seaside pub catering for families or groups. We had a small party in one of their side rooms.The room was a decent size, wooden floor, and traditional pub decor. The staff put in a good effort to decorate the room for us.The food menu was quite interesting, Service was OK, prices about average for the area. We had a large party, and the food all came out within a few minutes which was very good.There's a large children's play area at the back which was very popular with the younger members of the party. It has a "fort" style climbing frame which they really enjoyed.Unfortunately, not a lot of parking nearby, and what there is can be expensive and a bit of a distance to walk.Overall, we enjoyed the visit.

only just discovered this place and im so excited i have. food is outstanding, even thanked the chef because we couldn't get over how tasty the food was. portion sizes are very generous. pricing is cheap which is perfect for my family of 5. kids loved the food too. staff were helpful and friendly. will definitely be coming here on the regular. new favourite restaurant!

We loved this place so much, we went there twice, once for breakfast and then again for Sunday carvery. Lovely staff, great food, really nice atmosphere. We enjoyed stopping here on our mini break

Tried this place out today wasn't to bad food came fairly quickly and was warm which is always a bonus. Has a gaint play area for kids which again is great when your on holiday or out for dinner keeping the occupied. Was quite dingy is the back front and back side area of the pub and also could have done with a refresh as seating down the side is shabby. Not much more to moan about really as it was quite friendly.

We were looking for a place where to go for a lovely early dinner as a family. Google recommend this pub and kids weren't disappointed! What a huge, stunning playground for them to have some fun! Food is very average (big disappointing as such a limited menu usually mean that all dishes are there to impress).Pub itself isn't cleanest, spiderwebs, dust, reatrooms (toilets not working, in working ones you can't flush, no soap, lots of papers on the floor etc).Definitely it is good place to go if you have kids but really don't bother ordering food.Ps! I hope this pub is able to improve, young guys tried they best to clean and bring food to tables with a smile but not much can be done if food is so "average". This pub have lots of potential under the right management!

Fantastic place to stop for food in Minehead especially if you have young children.The service we received was speedy and friendly despite them being very busy. The food was excellent as well.The highlight though is the incredible children's play area at the back. There's no issue in keeping children entrained whilst waiting for food because there's so many different areas for them to explore in the play area.
