The Home Cook Cafe in West Somerset

Arrived just before 10am, stood outside in the freezing cold waiting for them to open so I could get breakfast & coffee, watched them continue to set up, whilst looking at me every now and again. I finally gave up ten minutes later when they still hadn't opened. Not very professional, won't bother trying to visit them again.

Beautifully presented food. Exceptionally clean cafe and proper, real, double-shot Americanos to go with breakfast.

Absolutely lovely food, and very friendly staff. Visited with 2 adults and 3 children and had a very tasty ploughman's lunch, jacket potatoes, and toasted sandwiches. Served beautifully. Just made it before last lunchtime orders at around 2:45. Glad we did!

Nice Gluten free cakes. + my partners Cream tea was the best she's had

The name sounds homely, but the food is top notch. Home-cooked lunch, great drinks, and lovely owners with totally chilled vibe. You know a place is great when the first thing a little boy says when he comes in is "it's a nice little café, isn't it?"
