Great food , lovel pub which has a warm local atmosphere. Definitely well worth a visit.

A lovely spacious and well-appointed room with a bath was just what the doctor ordered after a lot of walking on the moor. Followed by a very good dinner and couple of pints in the homely bar, with great service and a delicious breakfast set us up for our drive home, getting home just ahead of Storm Eunice. We'll be back! Thank you Tracey & the team for your excellent service.

Dropped in without booking with family of 5. They made us a space next to the wood burner, and the service was terrific, the food was amazing too. Best steak I've had in a long time.

Always try and call in when we're on Exmoor. Not much to fault about it. Has been vastly improved with some great outside seating areas including an outdoor bar. It's great to meet some of the locals as well. Big Lennox is usually there and it's always great to see him - a genuine West Country character. It also has one of the finest stags heads in the country on display. A true West Country pub!!

Stopped in for a drink, friendly staff obviously had a busy lunch but all was cleaned up and serenity descended. Very nice a cosy inside with wood fire.

Very friendly pub. Had 3 evening meals here which were great. Kids even have the choice of selecting their dishes, which my 2 found exciting. Dogs are very welcome

Absolutely amazing pub! Such lovely food and amazing service. Best scampi and chips I’ve ever had! My partner had the venison burger and as a butcher he’s very particular about his meat and how it’s done but he thought it was absolutely fantastic! Also very dog and children friendly with a lovely separate menu for both! Couldn’t be more thrilled with our lunch!
