Caviar Plaice in Weymouth and Portland

I ordered 3 pieces of cod and large chips. When i received the food, I realised i only had 2 pieces of fish. Granted I should have realised on payment, but didn't, my mistake (partly). On challenging that i had ordered 3 pieces, the girl offered to cook a third, but this would take 10 minutes. 'Can you put my food to keep hot?' I asked, 'no ' was the response. Seems very poor service. I Iwent home and shared the 2 pieces out.Now the food, the fish was very nice., but the chips disgusting, shrivelled, hard and obviously kept hot ( ironically)!I don't normally leave food on a plate, but I left these. I'm not even sure if this can be recycled...it's that bad!Although local to me, I will not use this place again.

Phoned order for pick up and was told 40 minutes. It took 70 minutes I was waiting for half an hour in the shop. Food was good, but not happy about the wait

Amazing fish and chips yesterday, cod was plentiful and great portions sizes. Piping hot and order ready on time. Great tasting fish and chips. A*

Best fish n chips in my life delivered last night. It was as though the fish had just leapt out of the fryer. Batter so light & chips chunky & not greasey. Magnificent

As a regular customer was very disappointed.over cooked sausage. Chips were just bits and fish batter had a big black burnt bit .

Excellent fish and chips at a good price. Not greasy, great chips and lovely fresh fish in a light crisp batter. Great friendly staff too. A bonus is the ample easy, free parking.

Considering the amount of workers they had in we waited 30-40 minutes when told they’d be ready in 10 mins. Instead the workers were stood around talking. Others who ordered after us got their orders first even when it was the same orders as us! Very disappointed in the amount of chips given and to top it off the curry sauce is so thick you can’t even dip the chips into it!

Always get fish n chips from here when I visit my nan. We have the lunchtime special and even though it's s smaller portion it's more than enough for us. The food is great and it's cooked fresh when you order so there's a bit of a wait but well worth it.
