Country Kitchen Cafe in Weymouth and Portland

Visited for lunch today before setting off home, superb food and the staff were lovely. Dog friendly too :)

Great range of cakes, Hot food and drinks. The views are spectacular the car park is pay & display or pay by app they have disabled access and a gift shop/Visitor center about the local beach and wildlife.

Service and food OK but felt there was limited choice . Pleasent enough surroundings Fine for snack and stop off with outside seating available

Good location. Good food - though felt over priced for somethings. A child's ham sandwich was just that - 2 slices of bread, ham and butter, all for £5. Childs platter is even worse, over £5 for a plate worth about £1. Sevice was good and the food came quick but left feeling robbed.

Fresh and tasty food with great views!Prices seemed expensive until we got the food! Well worth the price, nicely presented and BIG portions. Cajun chicken club sandwich, Crab sandwich, 'small plate' pot of crab, and a small fries. Hot chocolate and mug of tea £36Good covid safety precautions too.

Over the past few years I’ve visited this place a few times. My visits have always been good.You can eat in, get a take away and there is a few seats outside.Place is nice and clean, staff are always friendly.Coffee and food is always very good, they also have some nice cakes and ice cream.

Great! Mainly because it was open in January and I was struggling to find anywhere to eat along the South West coast, and the perfect spot overlooking the beach to finish the day after having walked from Abbotsbury.

A pleasant spot to stop for a bite. The sandwiches were like doorstops which I heartily approve of. Views of Chesil beach as you enjoy a bite and a huge car park at the door. Take away hatch for those who don't want to stop and toilets accessable without entering the dining area. Small shopping area which appeared to be in support of a local group or cause but I didn't have occasion to stop and investigate.Nice food, friendly staff and efficient service.

Our go to café in South Dorset. Taste @ Chesil is absolutely fantastic, the staff are attentive, friendly and efficient.The menu is updated frequently and the specials board is fantastic - though due to covid the menu is currently reduced.A wide selection of beautiful cakes and desserts, all freshly baked.The coffee is fresh and local as well as being reasonably priced - a large is actually a good size too!

What an amazing seaside cafe. The food is just superb. I had the best crab sandwich ever and the full English was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. We were in the area for 3 days and went back every day. Also, the Jurassic exhibition and shop is full of information and activities for children. Spectacular sunsets.
