Fish 'n' Fritz in Weymouth and Portland

Really disappointed in this ‘highly rated’ fish and chip restaurant. Very expensive and there are no locally sourced fish. Apparently it’s all from the Bering Sea. I wouldn’t mind paying if it was caught locally as happy to support local industry. Although I would never be happy to pay £2.50 each for tiny ramekins of baked beans and some of the nastiest mushy peas I’ve ever tasted.Only given one star for the very pleasant staff.

Recommend this friendly service even my friends little dog got a welcome. Brilliant service do anything to help even took a photo of us all. My kids meal was ample enough for me. Certainly go there again. Thank you to the staff. ❤️

I do not give 5 star ratings very often. I give 4 stars for very good food, it's the minium I expect.This place is has good as it gets. Perfectly cooked fish and chips. Proper portions too. A large cod is exactly that 👌. Great chips and tasty curry sauce too. I loved it.The best in Weymouth and I've not had better anywhere.Being local I will be back soon for sure.I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars. Exceptionally good fish and chips:)

This highly rated chippy lived up to expectations. Best chips in the town + yummy 'rock salmon'. Doesn't have the harbour views and might be difficult for visitors to locate but worth the search.

Comfortable, clean and well presented dine in area. Good friendly service, I visited with family for a Friday evening meal and had the haddock and chips. Lots of options on the menu + gluten free if required, one of the best Fish and Chips in Weymouth & beyond!

Lovely place, really well organised and the service was great. Staff are super lovely to boot. Have to say best battered sausage I've ever had its worth the trip from Bournemouth.

Just had the best gluten free fish and chips, the batter was so light and crispy, absolutely delicious and so much gluten free choice. Staff lovely and friendly too. Would definitely recommend.

Grabbed a small portion of chips before a show at the pavilion and I was extremely impressed - not only with the food but also the friendly service we had! I'd highly recommend this place, great prices, too! Big portions!

Fabulous cod and chips. Huge portion and lovely service.

Firstly the food is top notch and redeems it's other shortfalls. I had to wait for what seemed like an eternity to be served for takeaway, for a very simple order. It wasn't that busy either. I had to take a deep breath and compose myself when I saw the prices, they're on the verge of daylight robbery. Once I got my order however the food was great and helped me forget about my now empty wallet.
