Feeling hungry. Go in and have your fill. Coors on tap. Lovely and fresh. Nice staff. This is the case during the day.Edited.However, I visited in the evening at 5pm to be told booking would be necessary to eat on there steak night. I did not get to eat. Most tables had reservations boards on them for 6.30pm and 7.30pm so I was a bit miffed as to why we couldn't eat at our 5pm arrival.

Lovely pub & restaurant didn't eat here but the food looked really good the garden is a lovely little suntrap for the morning rays in the winter sunshine, the last 2 tables for the sun are the 2 right in front of the main door in

After the return journey form lowestoft to Plymouth where shall we stop for lunch. Out if our way by far Weymouth and The Gloucester got both our votes. Always worth the trip.

Beautiful affordable meals, with a very friendly atmosphere throughout the restaurant and bar.

Booked a table for lunch on the 6th Feb. Staff were very polite & helpful. The carvery was best i have ever had , food cooked perfectly and a good selection of vegetables. Gonna go large next time tho. Good job guys. 😁👍.

My wife and I were looking for a place to eat and watch football. This place definitely did not disappoint. There was a great atmosphere with a mix of locals and tourists, the food was amazing, we had the carvery, however looking at others ordering the off menu food that looked just as good. The staff are all helpful and friendly from the front desk that seats you to the bar staff. Will 100% be going again and looking forward to it, they also have all covid precautions in place so is a safe environment for all.

lovely atmosphere, good COVID precautions and most importantly exceptional food. A table of 10 all served at the same time with hot great tasting food freshly prepared and all correct, all allergies taken into account and adjusted for.It says alot about how difficult it is in the hospitality industry that this should be an exception rather than the rule but the staff at the Gloucester were bang on despite (or maybe because of) the fact that it was new year's eve.A nice venue with good service and excellent food.

A friend recommended this place, we were not disappointed. The food and staff were fabulous. If you're ever in Weymouth I would highly recommend you pay them a visit and enjoy.

The food is great, the staff was friendly and helpful (except for the host at the door who was a bit rude and dismissive), we booked in advance and when we arrived they informed us there was a delay of 1h - 1:30h for the food. It was ok with us, but it would’ve been nice to know in advance at the moment of booking so we could’ve book somewhere else

Nice food and a warm welcome. Even though the Gloucester is currently running a reduced menu (still in covid restrictions at time of review) there was a decent selectDefinitely planning on returning when inside dinning is permitted and the full menu is back
