Prezzo - Weymouth in Weymouth and Portland

Maybe we just went on a bad day, but I left feeling extremely underwhelmed by this place. We go to Prezzo a lot due to them having a decent selection of gluten free food. But waited an hour for starters to come out (despite asking for all food to be brought at the same time as we were sharing starters as part of our main), and the main dish took over 1hr 25mins to arrive from ordering!Like I say, it may have just been a bad day for them but wasn't impressed on the day we went unfortunately.

We went to eat at Prezzo in May and were greeted at the door by Michael, who was very friendly. he handed us the menus, reassured us that somebody would come and take a drinks order then left us to decide what we wanted to eat. Michael popped back every now and then to check that all was well.We were served at he table by Jack, a lovely, friendly man for whom nothing was too much trouble, including that none of me food contained cucumber, as I have an allergy to it. All of the courses were served at a steady rate and we did not feel hurried in any way.By the time we had eaten, the restaurant had quietened down, so Jack stayed and we had a lovely conversation with him. We greatly appreciated this as, all too often, the only time you have with you server, is when they are bringing you food or the bill, or clearing the table.We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and are looking forward to visiting again when we make a return visit to Weymouth.

Fantastic evening, we turned up with no booking and the staff happily accommodated me and my partner. Staff were very friendly. Was my first Italian and i explained to staff that im unable to eat cheese so they helped recommend some dishes to me. Food was delicious

Fantastic food and great service! We went there on a Bank Holiday afternoon but it was quiet inside. We were served by a lovely lad called Mike who was absolutely brilliant! And so was the food! We had a garlic bread and two pizzas, they were delicious. The portions were enormous though so we had to take some of it home as it was too much for us. We definitely recommend this place and will go back there on our next trip to Weymouth!

It was a family lunch to celebrate my birthday. It was excellent. Good menu and we were very pleased with our meals. The staff were good and very friendly. Certainly go there again.

Visited on 20\3\22 for an early mothers day. Unfortunately the items we tried to order, was unavailable. Although we were not told this on arrival.Therefore we ended up with pizza and sides ( chips and garlic bread).The food was pretty average. Service was okay. However, for the price I don't think it was anything special. I wouldn't return.

Decided on Prezzo for our evening meal very attentive staff without being overbearing. They dealt with my dislike of cheese and made me a calzone without cheese it was very tasty. The rest of the food was also really good. The king prawn starter, pizza main, mozzarella bites and garlic bread all cooked fresh and really tasty.

Cant complain about the food which we have found always good. At the door says card payment only,no cash,fair enough. But having had our meal and paying our card was declined 3 times, and waiting over 20 mins after to pay our bill. We were told there was trouble with there card machines , and told that i was to go to the nearest card machine, to get cash,but because there was no cash they could not give change !! Thank goodness after one last go our card was accepted. My wife and I are local,you have our tell no. and it would be good if the card machine was playing up that you could trust us that we would phone you that next day and we could pay you over the phone,or drive by and sort out the bill,not be treated like cattle. So there you go, two stars and hopefully you can come up with a better plan B for you customers.

Booked a table for dinner during a week’s walking holiday in the area.The chap that met us at the door was rather “curt” but got us seated on a table near the bar. Two other tables near us received new diners after us but for some reason they both got attention before us and it was only after I pointed this out that someone came and took our order.The food was nice but let down by poor service.

Great Service food was niceAmbience could be improved felt a bit like a Moto service station.One toilet for all, directly from restaurant area not pretty !Can't beat the harbour outside very picturesque.
