Rex Restaurant in Weymouth and Portland

Cleanliness great staff very friendly & helpful , breakfast was first rate, service was very efficient evening meals were excerlent , great location for beach &habour , will definitely be returning ,Thank you all for a .lovely holiday

Staff couldnt be more helpful or friendlier. Room is a twin bedded sea view which does exactly as you would expect and is spotlessly clean. Food is of a very high standard and will definitely rebook.

Clean room, friendly staff and well located. But this time, I had room 19, which was slightly uncomfortable and noisy, I listen all the time when people from the other room use the toilet and plummet.

Great old hotel that's been refurbished and decorated recently. Excellent seafront position, handy for the town, quays and beach. We had superb service from the staff, I wish all hotels had the Rex staff standards. We travelled by train, so parking wasn't an issue, if we'd used our car we may have had a different opinion. Second time we've stayed at the Hotel Rex, on the next visit to Weymouth we will stay at the Rex again.

Second time at this hotel. Not disappointed at all. Great staff. Breakfast non greasy. Excellent location, loved the balcony overlooking the sea.

An excellent hotel. Exceptionally spotless and covered all covid rules without being "in your face". The room was sea facing quite spacious for a single and the en suite well well equipped with toiletries and disposable bags, and the shower was easy and simple to use with plenty if hot water. The choice of menu was very varied and the food was served by very pleasant staff and delicious to eat. The hotel is in a good location and I would recommend a stay here to my friends and family and I would certainly like to return in the near future. Well done to ALL the staff.

A great, if slightly dated hotel. The staff were wonderful, polite, cheerful and so helpful. The food was great and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable.

Really nice hotel!It's a proper traditional English hotel with some modernisation that makes it feel really expensive without having to pay above and beyond.The staff are absolutely lovely and the breakfast was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!

Great staff, great food, the weather was windy when we stayed, and the wind rattled through the windows, but as its an old building, this has to be expected I guess? I should imagine during the summer months it is brilliant all round.
