My meal was glorious. Possibly one of the best fish meals I have ever had. They could do with a charcoal grill - it will give exceptional taste to the range of fresh seafood they have.

When I was planning my trip to Weymouth, I knew I wanted to have a meal at Sea Beats. It's located on the Weymouth Esplanade and is a stone's throw away from the beach. The restaurant's exterior and interior is well decorated and justifies the name Sea Beats. We were seated and served the menu as soon as we entered. The host was friendly and professional. We were served the food soon after we ordered and it was mouthwatering. We had ordered the pan fried sea bass from the menu with canoe chips and garden salad. The items were fresh and prepared perfectly. It's one of the best pan fried sea bass I've had. The fish had crispy skin but the flesh was tender. But what we loved most was the Samphire, which we were told is a salty sea grass. It's very salty itself but it was smartly paired with the mushroom and potatoes and the dish was very wel balanced. It was a lovely experience and we would recommend this to anyone visiting Weymouth.

Lovely little restaurant with amazing food and service. It's really cosy inside with nice subdued lighting and decor. Food was amazing, we had lobster and sea bass both dishes were fantastic and they accommodated a slight change to one dish. Very attentive service, Mike was great and gave us some helpful suggestions of things to do in the area as we are visiting. Highly recommend this place and will be sure to come again!

Amazing experience on my last day visiting Weymouth for the first time. Humble interior, main focus... the 5* cuisine with a superb front of the house service. If you are around and and to be surprised come here. I went for the Lobster Chili Linguini... just awesome 😁

Found this place by chance when searching for some good lobster / seafood joint in Weymouth. From reservation to finish our experience was flawless. What an establishment! Food is the hero here but they are neither arrogant nor pompous about it. They pride themselves in service with humility.Let me start off by saying I planned only on ordering the Lobster here. I wasn't sure about Lobster Thermidor never having tasted it before and they were kind enough to do a half thermidor & half garlic butter lobster. The quantity / size of the lobster was really refreshing and the dish really delivered on flavor and value. The canoe chips (excellent idea) that it came with, were extremely good. The Seabass dish was equally good, simple but great taste and a minor amend requested to the dish was accommodated straightaway. Yes, so good was the food, that I ate a second main all by myself :)They knew their menu well and service was always with a smile and not at all intrusive in any way. They did not bother that my husband did not fancy ordering any of the veg options (as a vegetarian we were prepared for this but some restaurants are really picky about the cover charges and overall bill). There is so much others establishments can learn from this place. A shout out to the chef, the front of house and the whole team at Sea Beats. The focus is on fresh and tasty seafood and they deliver on that front for sure. We will definitely visit when in the area again.Only suggestion would be to have a bunch of used crayons and coloring paper on hand for when the kids don't seem to leave their parents alone to enjoy such good food ;)

Great service with great food altogether. Parking spots outside limited but there is a parking lot about 3 minutes walk away. Seafood platter was great with a good variety of seafood. Surf and turf burger was great too. The chips served along where something special, crispy and well cooked. Crème Brûlée dessert was amazing. Would definitely recommend for seafood if nearby.

Extremely delicious sea food!We booked for a Saturday evening, very last minute and took the last table outside. It was chilly but luckily the table had a heater! We shared mussels to start, then my partner had the Lobster thermidor for his main, whereas I had the chicken and bacon linguine. All meals were a good portion size, very fresh and super tasty. We thought that everything was good value and would definitely visit again - hopefully sitting inside next time! The staff were friendly and the service was great. Sometimes when sitting outside you worry if you might get forgotten about but that wasn't the case here.Highly recommend.

Seafront seafood restaurant. Fairly modest surroundings, with the most excellent tasting fayre. The halibut was full of flavour, served with a delicious mushroom sauce which complimented it perfectly. We visited on an evening in November, so inside tables only. There aren't very many and they we're all taken, so advanced booking advised.

We ordered mussels and crab pate as starters, for main course we had two fish dishes and two scallops linguine. All taste so fresh and divine, the portions are big and the customer service is excellent! Restaurant is clean and at the best location just opposite to the beach. We'll definitely visit again to try the lobster! Thanks Seabeats!
