The Balti House Tandoori in Weymouth and Portland

The food was good but unfortunately we were overcharged. When challenged the bill was adjusted. I would like to think it was a mistake but having seen previous reviews with the same experience it seems likely it was not a mistake. Enjoy the food but check your bill before you pay

Really expensive , pretty sure i got ripped off, but wasnt in the mood to challenge or make a fuss. Not great service and food was no better than a tesco microwave curry, but colder than one. Soft drink was as flat as a pancake. Menu was filthy, that should have been a warning sign in hindsight, loo was pretty grubby but was no different in the restaurant tbh.I would avoid at all costs

Visited on 7th June, food very poor,Bhuna was like a plate of stew, no taste or spice,overpriced in my opinion.

We went for a meal on a Thursday day evening four of us , great welcome by the manager and staffRestaurant was pleasant and smells goodOrdered naga chicken and mushroom rice and keema NanService was good and food came hot and freshEnd of meal got free shots prices are very reasonableIt's in middle of town center easy access to pubs and drinks after a mealGreatly recommended :)

Very grubby surrounding, flat soft drinks,service at a snail pace, food tasted reheated,side dressing was out of date had better micro curry’s, and the price was daylight robbery, if your looking for a nice restaurant in Weymouth then seriously AVOID this place will never get a penny from me again.

Service was great, food was nice but didnt overly stand out, sadly my naan bread was burnt to a crisp

Food was ok. They tried to add 20% to the bill. I refused to pay just because they hadn't printed new menus. Check your bill. Not happy

Really nice first time I had been back since the pandemic, but it was really tasty , had the chicken vinderoo and onion bargi and the service was lovely will be back.

On a positive note the food was OK. Negatives would be the poor quality of service including but not limited to having to give my order twice and they still got part of it wrong.

The food and service in this restaurant is very good, we chose to visit on a Tuesday which is their offer day. Small portions of the menu items and although it is a per head meal you have to share either anpopodom or rice dish. The actual restaurant is old and dated and in need of some serious updating. The chairs/bench seats are really high mileage and the table we were given had no springs left in it, in was seated in a uncomfortable hole. We asked to be moved and we were given a table which had a small bench seat.
