By all accounts this place looked to be a great choice - diverse menu good for those seeking gluten-free or vegan options and outdoor seating at the wharf. The atmosphere lived up to expectations. Eating outside is always an uplifting and enhancing experience - at least for me. However the food did not. Despite the ambiance, friendly service and menu choices my family and I were disappointed with the blandness of our food.We tried several dishes (isn’t that the point with tapas - it’s a customized, delivered to your table buffet) and all were unremarkable.Portions were perfect and what you’d expect for tapas. My biggest disappointment, as was my daughter’s, was the chorizo and scallop plate. The scallops were the size of a pearl and tough. My other daughter commented the kitchen must have run out of garlic when preparing her garlic mushrooms.Apologies for no pics but we came off a day of long walks and hikes.

Cosy, relaxed and charming spot for some tapas in Weymouth. Chorizo features heavily on a number of dishes, which I personally loved. Attentive but not overbearing staff. Most importantly, tasty food! I would return!

Very disappointing. Booked a table for 8 but only 6 could make it which was good as they had forgotten about us and quickly put some tables together in a cramped corner (there were other parties wit tables of 2 or 4 that had a lot more space tan us). Staff were slow taking our orders even though we were placed right next to them. The food was so so, the same tomato sauce was used for multiple dishes and so they all tasted the same.Probably wont bother going again.

Lovely little tapas restaurant with excellent gluten free menu allowing both of us to share choices. My wife is celiac so normally I need to take care. Here we could just enjoy the food and great service. Thank you!

This little restaurant is very clean and the staff are friendly but if you are going to expect Spanish tapas you will be disappointed. The food isn’t great and quite over priced, we paid £6 for “ham and peach nibbles” which turned out to be three slices of tinned peaches (in syrup) with a bit of Parma (not Serrano) ham around them. All in all not a horrible experience but we wouldn’t go again!

By chance, we stumbled over this little gem hidden away from the busy Weymouth harbour areas on the way back to our car park -- we did not regret taking the chance. Our family had a lovely meal at the Crow's Nest. The tapas dishes were richly flavoured, vibrantly mouthwatering, and teased the tastebuds enough keep you wanting more. The creamy sauces of the chorizo dishes warmed the soul. Our favourites are lime & chilli prawns, and garlic mushrooms. The ambiance was easy going, with adult contemporary music along with the lovely staff team, jovial and relaxed. We are first time visitors to Weymouth and if there is another opportunity this Easter weekend, we shall be back!

I visited here for the second time and I still can't fault it. The food is delicious, fresh and hot, the staff are friendly and attentive, there is a lovely atmosphere and it's located near Weymouth picturesque harbour. The owners and staff clearly care about what they do which is shown in what we receive as a customer. My son doesn't normally have much to say about restaurants we take him to but he commented that this was the best he'd been to, so thumbs up all round.Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back again.

Wow what a hidden gem!! Sat outside which was really intimate and romantic, felt like we were the only ones there.Food arrived so quickly! We ordered 13 dishes and all arrived hot and together. Food was fantastic quality and everything we hoped. Dessert fab too, 100% recommend the chocolate cookie dough brownie!Service was fantastic. Professional but relaxed and the waitresses were lovely. Cannot fault it, best meal we’ve had in Weymouth… we’ll be back! ❤️

Have dined here on two occasions and both were top notch experiences. The restaurant has outdoor and indoor dining and its rustic charm together with friendly and helpful staff helps to create a relaxing atmosphere. The food quality was very good with a creative balance of dishes from a comprehensive menu. The scallop and breaded manchego dishes are delicious and appear to be a firm favourite.
