The Fantastic Sausage Factory in Weymouth and Portland

Brilliant. Had some of the bbq items the other day and they were delicious. They are also doing sausage rolls at the moment so we tried some, and will definitely buy again...

Just had a "Dirty Willy" (not something I have ever said before) and it was phenomenal. Hot, tasty and fresh, and has filled me up to the brim. The gentleman who served us was very nice, and even rushed me over some extra napkins as he could see I was getting messy. First time a willy has been in my mouth and so glad I tried it. An absolute treat and so big. Highly recommended.

So wanted this to be good but sadly we were disappointed and would not use again. We purchased 2 types of pork sausages, the New Yorker and Peri-Peri flavours. In both there was far too much rusk/filler and very little actual meat - there's possibly more pork in a Linda McCartney sausage. At no time did we see the meat content listed in any of the recipes and they were absolutely average at best. I hate posting poor reviews but we cannot recommend at all.

We bought 2 of every kind they had on display. 14 different flavours. Took them home and cooked one of each and tried them all. They never shrank and there was hardly any fat left in the pan after cooking. You can tell they are made with good quality ingredients. These are what sausages are supposed to be. The guy in the shop really knows his stuff, listening to him talk about his ingredients and what he thinks works and what doesn't. This will be our new must have every time we are in the area.

Got to give a couple of stars for the service and staff which are honestly outstanding. The guy got my kids really involved discussing the meat and its production, lovely fella.Trouble was the actual sausages, bought 3 flavours and they were nowhere near the quality of a "best selection" supermarket range. Couldn't distinguish any of the individual, signature flavours and they were really, really over salted. The worst part however was the skin, it was incredibly thick to the point of sticking in your teeth.I might have simply had a bad batch as other reviews are top notch so it's worth trying and as I said, the staff are awesome, how I imagine service was in the old days.

So we ordered two hot dogs around lunch time . Bread was cold, cheese was almost cold too, nice sausages but that's about it. No tomato or bacon in the dogs as it was advirtised on the pictures.

The best sausages I have ever had! Even my little one who hates sausages, absolutely loved these! Thick, non greasy, no water like shop bought sausages! Had four different flavours! Devine!!

This is the best fun butchers you'll find. It's a small trader not a chain. A big range including leaner products, lots of old favourites too. The new big willy range is funny and huge cooked takeaway meals can be had. Recommended for sure.
