I don’t think this place merits the 5 star food hygiene rating that it boasts. We went on a Tuesday evening. Granted it is a quiet night to go for a meal. The food itself seemed cooked enough. The concern was the manner in which prepared food was stored. We were there for approximately an hour and I saw two full tote containers of raw meat out in the open on a counter for the duration of my visit. The outdoor temperature at the time was ~19C and there was no form of cooling in the vicinity of the prepared meat. The food itself was average at best. Rice was either undercooked or simply killed off by the heat lamps, a satay chicken skewer left floating in the water upon which rested the pancakes (cross-contamination + allergen). We ordered drinks and had to remind staff twice about our order (25 minute wait for drinks).Might be better to go during peak times but avoid on quiet evenings. Or maybe a beer or three helps make the food palatable.

Restaurant doing buffet which is a mix of oriental and Indian/Nepalese food. It’s decently priced for the food. The staff are friendly. The restaurant also has a beautiful location. There was no option to order from the menu when we went.

Very pleased last minute Sunday me looking for a roast to treat everyone so booked our table, glad I did as it must be so popular the was a full room with lovely atmosphere. I wanted to take my mum n dad out, they live in Weymouth. The staff were pleasent, they were continually refilling section of food, taking plates away, the chefs can be seen cooking. The food range was amazing! it catered for the most fussy person with me, there's something 4every1. Most of us had the carvery we added huge button mushroom Chinese cooked too they were delicious as we wanted another plate to try the all the Chinese food, but we were full, after the 2nd plate n pudding. There was hash brown and fish cakes 4 our our fussy eater, he had 3 plates full with 2drinks. I had pinot grecio 🍷 I enjoyed the long stemmed brocoli small carrots and French beans. Yorkshire n beef (other 2 meats there 2) Personally me loving veg I'd like to see one more vegetable for the cavery part & that me being very picky, cauliflower cheese, or spouts in roasted walnuts would be great addition. Good price lovey staff & Price on point. 4 of us with drinks as well only came to roughly Β£60 we will be back! I wished I taken photos properly of the food alone but we were having a good time I wasn't thinking about doing a review, so I'd try 2 pick the photo that had the food in it not my dad too he doesn't know lol he in the review πŸ˜… For that day I'd give 4 in a half stars, well deserved.Thankyou ghurha see you again soon!

Family visit for help yourself, buffet lunch. Open kitchen. Very good choice, tasty enjoyable meal. Well priced. Doing good business, but loads room, had nice window table. Staff attentive. Felt unhurried and very welcome, even though toddler got food everywhere. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Me and wife have come here for years now and the food is always good with reasonable prices and the staff very friendly. It's located centrally in Weymouth across the road from the bus station and not far from the shops and car parks near the marina. It has great views over the lake towards the marina and the nature reserve. The food is served buffets style and kept in hot plates with a good selection of Chinese, Thai, Indian and gurkha recipes and all tastes great πŸ‘.If you love good food this place is worth visiting

An amazing place to eat if you're interested in oriental food. Freshly cooked, delicious and at an amazing price. On top of that the staff are sooo friendly. I'll definitely return 😍 Can't fault it!!

I came here for the buffet. It was about expected. The Buffet food is made en mass. So its not going to taste like 5 star cuisine.Having said this the food was all really great. The food I tried tasted great and was of good quality. The Buffet had a very nice range of selection. There was much choice and I appreciated that. Many Buffets lack in this department. The price was fair and about the correct amount I would expect. The staff were very efficient and helpful. They made their presence known should we need anything but not be too over bearing. My reason for 4 stars is unfortunately the place needs a exterior revamp. It looks very worn down and dilapidated. Especially at the rear where the wooden platform is. However this is a minor thing and is easily fixed with a lick of paint and some surface maintenance/repair.In summary, this is a very nice establishment with efficient and effective staff. The food was of above adequate quality and I will definitely come here again in the future.

Nice buffet. Good service but be aware that as they rotate the types of food so no everyday you get everything. Also the lunch / dinner is around 14 pounds. Si check before go. Nice views of the lake
