A lovely pub and such friendly, thoughtful staff. From the phone call to check availability to bringing the food out, they couldn't have been more helpful and kind.Popped in here for a Sunday dinner during a day trip and it was one of the best I've had. Will definitely visit again next time we are down that way.

Very nice Pub, went there for the first time on new years eve, the landlord and landlady were chatty and attentive, made us very welcome and excited to return in the future, would recommend, lovely vibe and welcoming atmosphere.

We always have our work Christmas dinner here and this year was no exception. Great food friendly staff and good beer and wine. Would always recommend the Nothe Tavern for consistency!

Wonderful venue, we chose to sit outside as the weather was lovely , great views over the harbour. I had chicken and Chorizo tagliatelle with garlic bread and the hubby had a steak. Both meals were excellent . Great hosts and value for money would definitely recommend. In current climate you need to book for evening meals.

Service and food was great. We managed to slip in a reservation and it was worth it. The steak pie was great, and it was a pie not just meat in a casserole dish with a lid. Lovely onion gravy as well.

Good selection of drinks. Great view of the harbour from a decent sized beer garden, blocked a little by the theatre by the beach. Very friendly staff, nice indoors although too hot to stay on there this April, with the heat wave. Sunday lunch looked and smelled fantastic although the pub was unfortunately only a pit stop on a walk to the harbour.
