Good value and tasty food , plenty of it to. Will go back as it is a casual relaxing Harvester .A good end to a busy day 😊

Absolutely dreadful, walked in asking for a table for 4 and they turned their nose up because they had a table of 12 people in which would keep them busy - great first welcome!Told we were welcome to sit in the bar for food but the wait would be over an hour, 2 meals turned in in 5 minutes and the other 2 in 45 so we couldn’t all eat together, also got told there was a que for the salad bar so had to have it after dinner ???The place itself is starting to age and lack of housekeeping or maintenance. Also ordered on the app which was very painful, for example when ordering a steak it wouldn’t let us choose which sides we wanted etcNo wonder harvesters are starting to disappear with that service

Came here whilst on holiday. Came for dinner, had the lunch 2 courses for £11.99 and all the food was really nice apart from my son's burger, he said it was very tough and he couldn't eat it. Otherwise everything else was really nice. Dog friendly and the inside is lovely. The salad bar is nice, even though you can't do help yourself.... But still a good portion. The three stars is because your website states that you are open for breakfast, and you're advertising breakfast outside in your car park... We arrived this morning at 11.15 and you were closed and we discovered that you do not do breakfast. You open at 11.30am, your website states you do brekkie until 11.30. Whilst staff shortages can't be helped.....please update your website. Working for Mitchell's and butler's myself we were looking forward to coming back for a brekkie and last day holiday drinks and even more of a bargain with staff discount but had to take our service elsewhere.

It was my birthday and you sent me a free mains voucher so I took my family for dinner after a walk along the beach. We do not live in Weymouth but love coming down as often as we can.Staff and food was great as always.

My girlfriend and I went here for lunch. The moment we entered the pub we had a lovely warm welcome. We were looked after by a very pleasant, well mannered lady called Brooke. She was fantastic throughout and due to the great food and service we will be returning to this pub.Thank you Brooke for great service, 10 out of 10. Food was great and we particularly enjoyed your recommendation on the jalapeño poppers!

The location is beautiful, we sat in a "beach hut" outside overlooking the sea. Honestly it was very calm and relaxing. It's a shame the food let down the whole experience. You still can't help yourself to the salad bar, and I had to chase down someone to help despite it being really quiet. Our main meals came, the simply chicken was nothing special but just about edible. The simply salmon was awful, it didn't come with the parsley mash as stated, only dry microwaved mash. The veg was disgusting and the salmon itself was the most disgusting piece of salmon I've ever tried. The staff were very friendly and did refund my salmon dish.I would return and give this place another chance as the location is stunning.

Although they were busy at The Spyglass we experienced a prompt and friendly service with the staff being attentive. The restaurant and facilities were very clean, the food was good, reasonably priced and well presented. This made for an enjoyable lunch. Well done, we intend to return.

Outside tables have unobstructed view over water. Dog friendly (restricted to bar area and outside) Accessible from the road and also on the green behind. Staff could not have been more helpful and they even learned our dog's name. Food was delicious (breakfast and evening meals).

Have visited here quite a few times, on my last trip we went and had a really good breakfast, there were decent veggie options and really good selection of brekkie items at a really good price, the veggie sausages were a bit of a strange texture but the rest made up for it, there was an option for guacamole on my partners meal, I think this should be available for the vegetarian breakfast also, unlimited lavazza coffee for 99p is a really good deal too, I definitely made the most of this and was pleased they included alternative milks in the offer. The service was brilliant and the waiter was really nice, would have been nice to pay the bill at the table rather than having to go to the bar on the way out but it's not the end of the world. Would recommend and will definitely be going back :)

Fantastic place. Fast and friendly service. Staff were all brilliant, booking a table was a breeze especially when I said I would be there in a hour ,arrived 15 minutes early and wasn’t a problem. Shown to my table immediately. . Food was tasty. Great atmosphere. And the salad cart was fresh and looked great .have made 2 visits and will be visiting again in the future.recommend to all
