Amesbury Chippy in Wiltshire

Was my first time in Great Britain and the Fish and Chips were absolutely amazing and delicious, thanks!

Food is amazing can’t fault that it’s the wait times that are a disappointment I always phone in my order to avoid wait times but this never happens the polite people will give me a time of 6 and more times than not I’ll be waiting until 6.20 which is a disappointment

Had to wait over 30 minutes for my order and the fish and chips are nothing special. Threw away the curry sauce as it had the consistency of gelatin. Yuck!

Visted amesbury chippy last night and ordered 2 medium portions ... waited 20 min to get them then when i got home i was greeted with 2 tiny amounts of chips one of which some how managed to be overcooked and under cooked at the same time ?This cost me £4.00 i feel this is extortionate for the amount/quality of chips.

On the whole lovely, but the fish was pretty greasy, the mushy peas contained about 6 peas and the curry sauce was very watery.

Absolutely amazing, honestly a food highlight of our trip to England! Fish was perfectly cooked and the batter was amazing. Chips we're delicious. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful, even though they were swamped when our group if 10 people showed up. Thanks for a great dinner!!
