ASK - Marlborough in Wiltshire

Food was fantastic and very well priced.After 6pm parking is free on the main street.Very polite and friendly staff

We really like the food but we won't be going back on a Friday night again because at our last visit the food took nearly an hour to arrive. The only excuse from the staff was that all the tables were waiting that long. Considering a pizza takes about 5 mins in a pizza oven I'm not sure what the hold up was

I now know why they call this place ASK…You have to ASK to be seated. You have to ASK for the menus. You have to ASK to be served some drinks. You have to ASK someone to take your order. You have to ASK for some salt as your meal is tasteless. Rubbish service. Very average bland food and not cheap. Will NEVER go here again!

Horrible meal , the food was better quality in a kids restaurant, the calzone came out burnt around the edges, the waitress you could see did not want to be there and there were no special, will never go there again

Fantastic service and the food was very well presented and extremely good.will definitely go back again.

11/12/21 Fifteen of the family met up, from all parts of UK and Spain, for a meal, we were going to be twenty but five dropped out on the morning! Julian sorted us out, he was excellent. The service was great and the food lovely.

The menu was excellent as usual, however on this visit the staff were clearly not wanting to be there, we tried ordering by our phone however this was not working, we advised the waitress who said “it is working” and walked off, eventually she was persuaded to take our order the conventional way, the meal arrived for all 6 of us and as stated the food was amazing, we asked for balsamic vinegar and the bottle was slammed on the table by the waitress! after a couple of hours we asked for the bill and requested our pizza was boxed, 2 pizzas was boxed, however the 3rd box was presented to us to box ourselves, then to add insult to injury the card machine asked if I wanted to tip the waitress!!! I reluctantly tipped as I felt it would be rude not to, however I will express my disappointment face to face next time rather than let it bother me all afternoon

Great Italian food, although my first two choices were off the menu. The alternatives were good but there is always an element of disappointment. Was given time unconditionally when I said I wanted to wait a while before I ordered dessert which is always nice. Great when you are given time in a restaurant. Shame about the plastic flowers outside. Is it really such a burden to give your customers some.real flowers? Better to look at and better for the planet than poor quality plastics flowers. Would have been a higher score if my first choices were available and plastic flowers weren't used. The service was quick and efficient.

We just picked a variety of starters and the they were all fantastic, the Calamari was done just right.The mushrooms were insane with a little lemon juice, who knew!

The restaurant offers a pleasant, well lit interior, friendly, efficient service and average food. A big plus for me was when the host asked if we had any allergies. I have a severe nut allergy. He gave me a separate folder that listed the potential allergens of every item on the menu. Being able to check my food choices was very reassuring.
