Beez Neez in Wiltshire

We sat on the terrace on a sunny day and it was beautiful. The food is fresh and unbelievably tasty. They’ve thought about the small details and the decor is lovely. My favourite touch is the monthly Tales from the Kitchen Garden on the back of the menu which is so well written 👌🏼will be coming back again and again.

One of the most accomplished lunches we’ve ever eaten. The setting is beautiful and the greeting is warm and welcoming.Lots/most of the ingredients come from the gardens; should you eat outside, you can spend your time visually consuming the very food you’re eating.The menu is unique and well rounded. Every dish is prepared sympathetically to it’s surroundings and lovingly presented on delightful tableware.It was all delicious. There’s nothing more to say, other than you won’t want to leave a single scrap.In summary, we completely fell for the Pythouse kitchen and we are returning with more family members in a couple of weeks, for another (of what we hope to be many) lunches in the garden.

We ate here on Sunday on the chefs table for my wife’s birthday surprise, my 3 adult kids and partners. We are still digesting how disappointed we were with the rather cold and uninterested “welcome” we had ! I had assumed the chefs table was just that; a description of food etc and being looked after etc etc.. this was not the case. We had the collective view that the establishment could not wait to get us out of the door. The food …. Was ok, we have worse and have had a lot better. What left a sour taste was simply the lack of ambience, occasion and being made welcome, with a bill over £400 for lunch, we will all vote with our feet and never return. A shame

We visited for lunch on a Sunday and it was lovely. Bags of character and a fantastic set menu, with seasonal and locally sourced food. Couldn’t fault it really. Good value at £35 for three courses and a range of (actually good) alcohol-free options on the drinks list. Well worth a stroll in the garden after your meal.

Just had lunch here. Food was imaginative and out of this world. Came away feeling very well fed. Service was excellent without being overbearing. Definitely in my book for repeat visits

A wonderful experience having lunch here - I can’t recommend highly enough.The place is absolutely beautiful with its natural, horticultural themed decoration. The dining room is in a south-facing conservatory overlooking a walled garden in the foreground - from which many of the ingredients are picked - and the west Wiltshire downs beyond.The food was exceptional. It’s a 3-course seasonal menu; we were there at the end of Autumn. For mains, a range of vegetable dishes are served with a choice of something ‘from the fire’ - we had Chalkstream trout with Jerusalem artichoke hearts & sprouting broccoli, and haunch of venison with malt-glazed squash & pickled blackberry. Both were outstanding: the trout as a complete dish, and the venison alone mouth-watering. The courgette was my favourite side, closely followed by roast pink fir potatoes with smoked cream and venison heart bottarga. Burnt pumpkin cheesecake a nice way to finish. At £30 pp I think this is incredible value for money.A friendly, professional service team completed the experience.

We had a lovely lunch at PKG yesterday. Really, really excellent food, great service and nice atmosphere and surroundings.

What a wonderful place for a special lunch! The setting is beautiful, we were outside under the canopy, it was a bit chilly but outdoor heaters and blankets made it cosy. The food was incredible, a well thought out menu with delicious combinations of food. Can’t recommend it enough!

The food was absolutely amazingly flavorful 😲 The Nibbles were so tasty (starter) Garden Gatherings and from the fire absolutely delicious (main) and the pudding gorgeous.A few photographs and the items ticked was my choice today. What a fabulous find! Stunning setting, welcoming atmosphere (even as the wind howled around us), and the freshest, most delicious food. Would highly recommend and we will certainly be back for more.
