Tasty wholesome food from a "pub" menu with specials. The photos advertising the menu aren't reflected in the actual menu but that's ok.( I was tempted by the picture of curry but had lasagne instead). Our party had omelette, fish pie, pheasant pie, scampi and lasagne, all perfectly fine. Puds were v nice, cheese board huge. All in all a good night out

Good food, generous portions and lovely friendly staff always had a nice time here, whether we just stopped for a quick drink or had something to eat, well worth a visit.

We had a lovely meal here it was a lovely old fashioned pub. But disabled people people beware - there some steps to go up/down if you take your dog with you

Pretty village pub, full of local characters and chat. Great selection of reals ales(that change regularly). Tasty home cooked meals . Families welcome. Great outside seating area and outside function room +pizza bar at weekends. Best local pub for me

This is a pub in the middle of the countryside with some parking across the road. Ordering needs to be done at the bar, but this is not explained when you enter and get invited to find yourself a table. This may be because there are lots of regular patrons who know how it is done. There was only 1 rather battered menu for 4 of us and this resulted in our party not getting our order quite right. The food was pleasant and the pub appears to be dog friendly, which is great for those doing country walks with their dog/s

- The staff were very friendly, they made myself and my family very welcome, they went out of their way to be accommodating and helpful. The landlady Sam and one of her staff spent a couple of hours chatting to us about the pubs history etc. By the end of our stay they had made us feel like friends rather than just guests The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. We all enjoyed our breakfast, it was tasty, hot and there was plenty to eat and drink. We would definitely recommend this quaint village pub and accommodation, we will be booking to re-visit next year.

Lovely country pub, a very warm welcome greets you here. Food is good, plenty of choice of beers, the marquee is a fantastic addition, and has its own heaters above each table, great even for winter months when colder. Definitely recommend this Pub

Such a nice place to have the pleasure of staying in, me and my dad stayed for a night; amazing staff , has to have been one of the best breakfasts I have had in a very long time, room was brilliant, very fast wifi for being quite rural. Nice local towns, good parking, good staff, good room, good food.Hopefully will be able to stay again and some point

Nice traditional pub , a little off the main road but worth it for the food alone, really nice traditional menu, home cooked. Caters for all tastes plus great local ale and cider. Nice outside eating area under cover if weather is as it always is in the UK... .

We haven't visited this pub for probably over 30 years and decided to have a meal in the evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The landlord, landlady and their team of staff were really friendly, making us very welcome. It was a nice place to chill out and relax after a busy day at work. The steak and kidney pie I had was homemade and very tasty. My wife enjoyed her spicy chicken burger as well. We will definitely be back soon.
