Bird & Carter Farm Shop Cafe in Wiltshire

First time here and loved it. The staff there were really welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough for you.No cafe at the mo just outside seating,inside is a shop selling local crafts and food.Lovely deli counter ,the quiches looked yummy.Will look forward to another trip there for another chocolate brownie.

Stopped to have some lunch after a hospital appointment to find that you could only eat outside. My sister and I decided not to, it was the 1st April and a very cold and windy day.We did however pop in to the shop and bought a sausage roll, slice of bacon quiche, some cheeses, a Danish pastry and a Chocolate Fudge Brownie to take home for lunch instead.Once home all goodies were very much enjoyed with a lovely homemade pot of coffee.

I'd seen on the website that they'd got a 'cafe and dining room' and quite an extensive menu... but when we arrived, it was 'just' a farm shop and a small choice of sandwiches or quiche and sit outside to eat. The ladies were lovely and very accommodating (with our drink preferences!), and the sandwiches WERE absolutely delicious.It wasn't until I got home that I looked at the website again and saw that there were 2 different sites, and it was the other one (about 15miles away) that had the dining room 🙈

Popped in just to browse the shop and didn't leave empty-handed. Everything looks lovely so will call back to visit the cafe. Friendly staff (Hannah?) made it a good stop.

Lovely traditional produce. Not all is local, so a good variety of quality fare.

A super friendly, customer focused efficient Farm Shop. We loved the chicken hot pot. We thought it was too cold to sit outside so our meal was brought out to our car. It was delicious. Thank you Bird & Carter.

Lovely cake choice. Coffee not to our taste but we do drink black. Be prepared to sit outside if you're not getting take away.

Quick stop off. Bought a pecan pastry and a chocolate pastry twist. Oooooo they were amazing! Lovely staff. Will definitely come back here when I'm up this way next

Lovely little cafe, deli & farm shop. Individual, tasty menu great for lunch & pit stop en route to Devon. Great cheeses in the deli and limited but quality veg in the shop. Friendly service and much better than a service station on a long journey!

Food quality gets three stars but the store and restaurant are dog friendly so for that I give them five stars. Cute store with local products. Friendly staff.
