Cafe Grounded in Wiltshire

Picked up a leaflet on the bar that said 25% of your food order so I asked the staff member at the bar can I claim this and order some food to which she replied no not now but when you come next time! I said it does not specify those details she then said we are too busy and will not be serving you food today very abrupt unwelcome and unprofessional.

A lovely cafe set by the river. We were greeted by the most beautiful little Jack Russell and her owner. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and so were our teas and coffees. We will definitely be back

popped in for somedinner, as we’re staying at The Angel hotel we didn’t fancy the menu there, ordered beers and a The Bad burger and americana pizza….IMO the best burger ever and i never order burgers because i’m pretty fussy! great place, friendly welcome, good tunes, awesome food and great art on the walls i especially like the fox / moon painting :)probably won’t be back because we live in Dorset but highly recommend, well done for being great! :)

Used to love this place, not sure what's happening behind the scenes but definitely not welcoming, anymore. Unhappy staff, recently (the nice one has apparently left), among other things, and then today decided to close early and chucked out 20+ customers. Not sure I want to go back ever again as each time it's worse. I'm a bit heartbroken as was a favourite venue.

The food was great, the girls were lovely but found the man taking orders was extremely terse, and sarcastic. If you go here remember to choose a table and give him the number otherwise he will growl at you, his dog had better customer service skills.

Called in a couple of weeks ago for a special meeting. Very pleased with the look and feel of the place. Music not too loud so we could hear ourselves speak, clean, excellent views and availability of tables, great menu, and very friendly staff. Decided to call in again yesterday for a meal. Same comments as above plus the food was right on point. Healthy options and indulgent puddings/cakes available, the latter of which we will try next time. Excellent Cafe/eatery. The member of staff today who was not intrusive in ensuring our satisfaction was the Brand Manager for the group. Really pleasant fella.

Good location but if you're going for food be prepared to wait, even when quiet. We ordered at around 12.30pm and food arrived at 1.20pm (ish) so quite a wait. If restaurants like this want customers to spend more on drinks, bring a complimentary salty snack to the table. This mitigates customers' hunger, so they don't mind waiting, and encourages them to drink more. Also, our table still had remnants of food from the previous customer.

Lively food, lovely staff, very nice

Really impressed with this place. I arrived early evening for a catch up with a friend and the guy that welcomed me in (I think he is a manager? Blonde hair) went the extra mile to get my table ready whilst I ordered a drink. He took cutlery, menus, sauces, a jug of iced water etc. and laid up the best table in the house - in the window overlooking the river and the outdoor seating area. It's little touches like this that make hospitality venues stand out from the crowd.Oh and the food and drink were excellent too!

Such a lovely coffee shop.Indoor and outdoor seating. Open Sundays till 10pm. 2min walk from the car park. Great outdoor views over the river. Will be going again.
