Perfect place to go for a light lunch, or fish and chips. Family run very friendly. There is also a nice selection of cakes.

A great little family run cafe in the heart of Salisbury. It's been our go to place for lunch for many years and we've never been disappointed.Always good food ,good service and good value foroney.

Fantastic food, great prices. I ordered the brunch (big breakfast) but asked for a few bits to be removed, and they brought me out a plate that was full to the brim - they'd substituted the bits I didn't want without me even having to ask. Tasty and cheap - what more could you ask for?

Must be our sixth visit in as many months. Always a smile and brilliant service. Coffee ace - sausages could be better with breakfast but the price and value reflects. No doubt be returning soon. Thank you

The place really needs a clean as there were big cobwebs in the corners, this is really unhygienic, everyone who worked there has no organisational skills, and were clueless, had to wait 10min just to get a mug for the tea that was ordered, the cutlery was dirty, the bacon for the hunters chicken was completely overcooked and there was more people walking out of the place than staying because there was no one cleaning the tables and keeping the place clean and tidy, would highly not recommend this place, this place should not be open and has really bad hygiene

Pros:- Friendly guy who I assume was the manager (warm greeting as we arrived and left)- Decor and atmosphere nicer than a lot of cheap greasy spoons-good location right in the centre of town- drinks and food came very quickly, and the waiter happily brought us a spare plate for our 2 year old- pot of tea for 2 was a decent size (enough for two cups each)Cons:- we didn’t feel it was good value for money (just shy of £11 for each breakfast, so for that price we’d either expect for there to be more items and with everything included, such as mushrooms, tomatoes & black pudding, or for the quality of the ingredients to be better)- cheap ingredients (e.g. equivalent of Tesco value own brand sausages & bacon) and some items had a bit of funny taste, like they’d been cooked in really old oil, the hash browns had black bits on, suggesting the oil wasn’t clean, etc.- not table service (not sure why, as there weren’t many people in there), and the waiter didn’t smile or exude warmth/friendlinessWouldn’t rush back, but might give it another go, to see if the experience improves at lunchtime perhaps

Been there based on google reviews. Absolutely friendly staff always asking if it’s all good. Really served a yummy full English breakfast. Would recommend going there.

It's a nice place to eat, the waiter was friendly and the food came out in good time. The full English was good, standard and well priced. A quick and easy option if you've been shopping all day. I went in at 1430 time and was still able to have a fry up. A simple menu and affordable prices. Coffee was OK. Recommended.

A decent restaurant with very nice atmosphere. Although you have to order at the counter, they have really fantastic service with friendly staffs. They serve traditional British food like fish & chips, shepherd’s pie, British steaks, etc. It’s open 7 days a week. I had the steak & sautéed onion baguette with chips. The price was reasonable and the food was okay.
