I haven’t eaten the food yet and I can safely say we WILL NOT purchase food here again. There is a recent review about punctuality (or the lack thereof) and I wish I had read it before giving Chillies a chance.40 mins wait for collection we were told.80+ mins later I was still sitting in the car and my husband didn’t have our food yet.Apparently there is no sense of urgency either as he asked for our food twice. The manager apparently thought we should be thankful he went into the kitchen to progress our order. He actually hid in the kitchen for nearly 30 mins instead of updating his customers.I entered restaurant to ask for our money back before if EVENTUALLY came out. I was seemingly being unreasonable by stating it was wholly unacceptable. In for a penny as they say, only reason we stayed waiting! Won’t make the same mistake twice!Insult to injury, got the food now and the order is WRONG. Several items missing. What a HORRIFIC experience.

We visited Chillies on a Saturday night with family. The food was lovely and great value. The staff were polite and attentive. Recommended for a visit to anyone visiting the area.

Ordered a lamb dish but had to wait 15 Mins for the table of 10 to be served. Meat was rock and looked grey. Asked the waiter who said I was served ‘old’ lamb lol. Unbelievable inedible food.

Booked for a table of 3 last night, on arrival we were seated as close to the door as you could get so every time the door was open it was so cold even though every other table was empty. Before we had even sat down we were asked if we wanted poppadoms and no drink. Even though poppadoms and sauce’s were obviously finished the waiter tried to place every item of mains onto table without clearing first. From getting through the door to leaving the whole experience was a rush .Unfortunately we won’t be returning again .

I've been trying my best to avoid writing a review as I have always been a loyal customer but unfortunately the last 4 times I have ordered there have been issues. On Valentines day I ordered a curry for 2 people. I placed my order at 6.30pm via the website and wrote in the special requirements box that I wished to alter one of the curries due to someone not eating meat.I called at 7.30pm to say that the curry hadn't arrived. The manager apologised and said it would be with us soon. I then called again at 8pm to be told that my order was ready at the restaurant but they were waiting on the delivery driver to pick it up. I then called again around 8.15pm as it still hadn't arrived. I said I was concerned that the order would now be cold as the manager had told me it was ready and waiting previously. He assured me it wouldn't be.My order finally arrived around 8.30pm as it seems there was only 1 delivery driver on for such a busy evening. The food was cold and it was apparent that they had not read the special requirements box as the curry I ordered was wrong.I called again to complain and was told they would send the order out again. I refused this as I knew they only had 1 driver and I would be waiting for hours again. The manager did offer me some money back and a free meal next time. However this isn't the first time I've had problems. Twice I have ordered recently and both times again the special requirements box was ignored. This worries me for people with genuine allergies.Another time I called to chase a late order and they told me that they thought it was collection when I had ordered for home delivery.I also called the restaurant in January to ask if a specific curry was vegan and gluten free as my friend has allergies and the person on the end of the phone replied with "no, because it has Coconut in"... I have no faith that they are taking allergies seriously and that's the reason I feel compelled to leave a review. It's a shame as I have always used chillies in the past.

Lovely food to compliment a few beers out on the town, highly recommended 😊🍻

So, it’s Valentine’s Day, and i thought I’d treat my wife. Ordered a curry at 18:50 so it’s delivered when the kids are in bed. 20:30 and still no food. When it finally arrived at 20:50, it was completely wrong and clearly an order for one person. When I called to complain the manager said “can you not just share”. Absolute disgrace and will not be using chillies again!!!

Well worth a visit, food is prepared fresh you can watch it being cooked, delicious with the correct amount of spice (for me lol), free parking in the evening along the High Street (unsure if its free in the day).

My partner and I went to Chillies for a late valentine's dinner. When we arrived the restaurant had plenty of spaces available so we were seated immediately. We both ordered the Maley Paneer Chicken, with me having a Saag Paneer side and Onion Bahji's for my partner. The food came out very quickly, and I must say it was incredible. I'm not normally a fan of coconut dishes and my partner doesn't eat curry a lot, however the Maley Paneer Chicken was delicious.I was pleased with the Saag Paneer side dish, which was lovely and spicy without being too hot. My partner told me his Onion Bahjis were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful, explaining what ingredients some of the dishes included. Music was playing in the background to create a nice atmosphere.I am definitely going to return to Chillies as this meal was amazing, especially for someone who doesn't have Indian food often.
