Chippenham Pit Stop in Wiltshire

Great truckstop with lovely showers. shop a little pricey on beer and wine but will defo stop again. steak pie chips and veg was lovely buy a tad expensive as well. Nice and clean but gets full quick 17.30 ish. Nice gaff though with great staff.

I can confirm that the all day breakfast does what it says on the tin! I'm still full up 11 hours later! 😉 Beautifully cooked , clean, friendly and very reasonably priced! Compliments to the chef!

Good food, clean showers & toilet areas. Safe parking & quiet place for overnight parking. Nice selection of snacks etc in the shop.

We were really looking forward to a good cooked breakfast. While we were sat eating our breakfast. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. A woman in white in the kitchen area spooning food from plastic container’s. Same spoon 3 different containers. The container’s were being used for customers fillings. 2 of us witnessed this. We were so disgusted. We couldn’t finish our food for fear of cross contamination and left.

Been staying here a few times while out on the road, if I can make it here I will.Feels safe, food is spot on, shop is really good everything you need and lots of truck goodies. Staff are really helpful Showers are good nice and hot and clean.Lee. (Martin's transport)

Parked up there for the night. With my meal voucher I had the tasty mixed grill and a pint of cider. £7 with the voucher. They just need to make spaces for vans to park in peace and not just that tiny parking area in front of the cafe

A pit stop by name but it is so much more than that - a welcome refuge who stop by to recharge and refresh. Independently owned and operated, the team warmly greets each person who comes in whether new or old.The food is simple but well prepared - expect all the British classics such as Cornish pasties, sausage rolls, fish and chips and a proper English breakfast.The icing on the cake is the ultra fast EV charging stations - four 350kW ones, and more to come in the future.We’ll happily stop by the Chippenham Pit Stop rather than a Welcome Break or any of the other big services!

I come here to charge my electric car as they have amazing Ionity super chargers. So can be 80-90% charged in 30-40mins. There are restrooms a shop and a breakfast/lunch/dinner cafe. Most food served, Pizza, all day breakfast, burgers. Amazing desserts!!

First time here. Showers were good , staff seem friendly and it has a great shop with truck accessories also. Now the bad points. Food was not good . Waited ages for a pizza, and to be totally honest, it's wasn't worth half of the £8.00 I paid for it . The menu seemed quite expensive for a truck stop. Parking seems a little on the tight side . Could loose a wing mirror easily. I'm glad it takes Snap, because I Dont think I'd pay to park here. At least other truck stops offer a voucher or something towards your meal . Lesson learnt

Need to get to this truck stop early & parking is tight, showers nice & clean.Food is good.1 mile off the motorway Chippenham junction. Truck stop is good but early for parking. Staff friendly & very helpful, Terry is a diamond as does his best to get you parked up👍Andy HicksonMassey Wilcox
