Classic Fish Bar in Wiltshire

Very slow service of 20-25 minute wait. I found cod super greasy. They gave me a cold battered Mars bar, which was disgusting. I expect more.

Generous portion of fish and chips. Tasted delicious everytime. Friendly staff to. Good job all

Always big queues but worth the wait as huge portion sizes and very tasty.

Nice fish and chips, but we waited for over half an hour to get them and several people who ordered after us got there meals first.

Not sure what oil they use but I could taste it on the chips, apart from that it was good food and good service

Ordered medium chips and pea fritter. Loads of nice chips but the pea fritter was a squashed disc that needed more batter.

Good chips, fair sized portions and keenly priced. Will definitely use again on treat day 😁

Huge portion. Large chips more than enough for two persons. Large fish was massive.

Be very careful! I ordered Hong Kong style duck egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips. I think I contracted food poisoning as I was sick on 3 separate occasions later that night/ early morning. After spending over £15 on this food I would not suggest anyone go here unless you want to spend the next few days ill. I will be going further with this.

Huge amount of chips and the biggest piece of battered fish I've ever seen, lovely mushy peas, a bit greasy tonight but usually really nice, make sure you have a fork as the wooden forks are the smallest I've ever seen
