Average coffee, average cake but way superior and less expensive than the Costa across the street, well worth the stop but keep your expectations under control

Went here a couple weeks back and thought it was really good so we went back yesterday and i couldnt be less impressed, we ordered two hot chocolates and they came out tasting like coffee so I told the lady and she was kind and polite enough and made them again, but the came back out just tasting like coffee again, it was quiet busy so we just left. Won't be going back again.

By far the worst breakfast I've ever had. A singular burnt greasy slice of bacon, a tiny serving of equally greasy mushrooms, 2 burnt hash browns, asked for no tomato and egg well cooked but got a burnt tomato anyway and the egg was runny. I know it's not easy when there are lots of orders coming in and from what I could see there were only 2 of them working on a Saturday morning. However, I did tell the lad what was wrong when he put the plate down and he just said sorry and walked away without offering to do anything about it. This place is probably fine for a drink but the food is awful.

Ordered a breakfast, asked for no tomato, and asked for the egg well done. Got a whole tomato and the egg was so runny it was practically raw. There were about 2 mushrooms slices on the whole plate and the beans we cold as if they just opened the tin and dumped them on my plate. They did however give us half a loaf of bread to go with it. Absolute waste of money.

We Have been here several times, called in fir breakfast thus morning, very busy 😀 staff were friendly and food was excellent as always, the place is spotless, love the coffee and we will be back very soon, its nice to be back

Very expensive for what it is. Said would be 10 minutes instead it was 40! 3 people arrived for takeaway hit food who were all served first. Just not good enough.Your response is in correct. I ordered my food at 12.57 it arrived at 13.37 i have the receipt to prove it! So that's 40 minutes. I have never felt compelled to feedback before ever. Either accept it or carry on failing.I took my son (11) who wanted to go to Costa but no i said best shop local with local people. On entering the shop the lady totally ignored me btw. I did want to by 3 jars for £10 but decided against it.So thanks for your response but you need to check your facts and improve your service.

Staff lovely, food grim. Dirty table but was promptly cleaned when requested. Good measures for virus safety otherwise. Ordered cooked breakfast. Hard crusty brown bottomed fried egg, cold toast which was buttered cold. Could really be a lovely place if care given with food prep.

Really nice and friendly staff. No napkins, uncleaned table. Over cooked eggs and under cooked sausages. Cheap and nasty cola. Very good coffee but guess that's done by a machine. People allowed to smoke at the entrance to the café.

Staff were very helpful and friendly but there were only 2 of them and it was quite busy. Drinks were ok but how can you run out of diet coke?We all ordered food and each had a different meal. There was a very long wait for food and i did feel very sorry for the young man who was cooking it. Anyway after about a 40 min wait out food arrived. On menu it said Ham salad with apple, boiled egg etc. The ham wasn't the best and there was no sign of the boiled egg and apple. My mum had the fish and that was horrible, it looked burnt and didn't taste very good . The omelette was warm and Jacket potato looked like it had been microwaved for too long. It was a shame because we researched a place for us to come today as my son was playing football about 3 miles away. Apart from the staff who were great I can't really recommend coming here and we most certainly won't of we are ever in the area again. .

First and last time experience.Extremely grubby and old fashioned. Over priced and poor service experienced.Came hear for a coffee and a bacon sandwich and was told coffee would take about 5-10 minuets as the machine was being cleaned. 30 minutes later (once our food had already been eaten) we were given our coffee and charged full price.Sandwich was over priced and pathetically filled.Every piece of decor seems to have an inch of dust on top, and everything is grimy and grubby, not something you expect from some where that serves food and drink in this part of the world.
