A wonderful place with friendly staff. It's a very interesting pub with a great interior. Looking forward to going back and trying the food 😊

Booked for Sunday roast but none to be had, bit disappointing maybe they should ask if you want it when you book and save it for you. Staff friendly the dishes we had were very good. Would definitely comeback hopefully for Sunday roast.

Excellent food, service and beer. Interesting and unusual interior. Worth a visit.

A unique and quirky place, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent food and drinks menu. A true rare gem of an English pub in the beautiful location of Corsham.

A fabulous 17th century rural pub. The interior has a very unusual style with low beamed ceiling and panelled booths for secret rendezvous. Roaring Open fires welcome you. Enjoy.

Beautiful historical pub, not to be missed when in the area. Nice staff and atmosphere.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and gorgeous food. The nut roast was delicious and huge! It's a great place for families and friends to gather around lovely food and great selection of wine and beer. I couldn't recommend it more! Thank you ❀️

Hugely disappointing. "Chicken stew" was a piece of chicken floating in some indeterminate gravy with half a dozen slices of carrots and potatoes alongside. And that was it. Very sad. Β£14 sad.Which is a shame because the pub itself, with it's nooks and crannies, booths and fireplace, is an absolute delight.I recommend the pub for a drink, but eat elsewhere

Fantastic venue, decor, and atmosphere; particularly in the semi-covered Beer garden. Due to their being a shortage of kitchen staff thanks to the lockdown, food is limited to sandwiches, packets of crisps, and simple salads. Our crisps still arrived silver service, which I found a bit surreal.Somehow they're still running, although they plan to move to what is currently The Tavern, in the centre of Melksham, shortly.
