Had dinner there on Saturday night and the place is absolutely fantastic. Very pretty building with loads of character. Great to see Covid protocols being adhered to. The food was absolutely amazing, beautifully presented and really high quality, I had Chicken and Ham pie but had to steal some of the home cooked chips from my companions as they were to die for!The staff were so genuine and friendly, one explained they had been down a team member but we didn't notice, service was excellent but we did want to give a special mention to our waitress (Nicole I think her name was) who suffered our fussy, mind changing and awful joke making table with incredible grace and good humour!Well worth a visit and we will definitely be back!

Great Sunday lunch, my party had the roast beef, roast pork, roast chicken and the lamb shank. Everything was well cooked, really tasty and the service was spot on. Dogs are welcome and even get their own Sunday lunch, which was so cute! Give it a go!

Stopped here for dinner last week with our two dogs and we were so welcomed. The lady in charge was attentive and friendly and the place clean with all Covid measures in place. The food was delicious, proper wholesome pub grub AND we even ordered two dinners for the dogs; which is something more pubs should offer in our opinion! We will definitely be back.

Loved our lunch today!! Delicious human roast - both of us are veggies and were offered quorn instead of meat which you don't see often and I very much appreciated. My 3 dogs were welcomed with open arms and were allowed up on the bench with me, plus they were served their own Sunday roast each as well and given treats alongside our choccies with the bill. The food was super tasty too - I'm quite picky about my roasts and this one was the bomb.

Fantastic food, very professional yet friendly service, lovely country pub. Highly recommend! Book to avoid disappointment.
