Fantastic Dog friendly pub in this beautiful little village, great prices for food very reasonable with plenty to go at. The bar staff couldn't be more welcoming and we can't wait to eat here again in the future.

Small town pub but it was fine. Food well priced for what it is. Local pub feel and the barman was friendly. No frills but ok.

Good selection of beers, reasonably priced and good pub grub again at great prices. Very worth a visit.

Food was fantastic, very well priced fornthe size of the portions and quality of food. Not the biggest choice of food but overall a great place to eat.

Booked for a birthday meal of 9 friends. No welcome, hello or acknowledgment from staff. Bar man Andy was really rude and unhelpful with our drinks. Service poor and exceptionally slow. Table staff not aware of what was included with meals and didn't offer any condiments, steak knives or checking back or even bringing our bill - standard service behaviour.Food however was worth the wait - big portions and delicious!No excuses - shame it's the only pub open in the village at the moment.

Lovely warm,friendly proper pub. Could use more staff on the bar,but very family orientated,so cater for adults and children alike. Good sized garden,so great for summer drinks in the country.

What a village pub should be, very busy with locals and a friendly atmosphere , small bar area with a good selection of drinks and live sports on TV.Went for celebratory meal and the food was excellent quality and quantity at very reasonable prices.Staff are friendly and accommodating.There is a specials board and daily offers.Would definitely advise booking at weekends, and have no hesitation in recommending .

Friendly staff and punters. Parking was awkward as they had film crews taking up the car park when I visited, but I assume this is not a normal thing. However the food was very good and the portion size was very generous. I had a burger and it was superb.

Managed to book a table at 830 when we called at 6. It was busy when we arrived, but the sectioned off restaurant room dampened the noise. Service was attentive even though you could tell the staff were being put through their paces. Would definitely return.
