Best Indian food there is.

·

Fantastic food at reasonable prices, my only complaint would be they don't do delivery

·

Great food, lovely owners, highly recommend.

Disappointing, tonight! Takeaway was missing a portion of vegetable curry; portion of chips was small and overcooked. The young English chap that was taking orders and payments, was eating a McDonalds burger, in between customers. Not very professional. Will think twice before going again.

the kurna gave me the runs, it tasted lovely. They dont have any soft drinks that they say they do, no desserts and last time i went a little girl peed on the stairs

Great Indian food and helpful staff. We went in person to order a takeaway, which allowed us to discuss their Gluten Free options, which aren't hilighted on the menu. They said, the whole menu was GF, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was very high quality, and reasonably priced.

The best curry in Corsham and surrounding area. The BYO aspect is excellent. The owner Mr Haque is very knowledgeable about all aspects of BIR cooking. The food is prepared with real care.

I feel I'm being a bit mean by only given them a 3* rating, because as far as local Curry Houses in Corsham go, they're probably a 4*. The only reason for the 3* rating is because I'm judging it against some of the best in the country from Chester, Manchester, York, Leeds, and London. It's definitely the one I'd go to in the Corsham/Box/Pewsham/Biddestone area, but it's not one I'd make a point of going out of my way to visit if I lived in Bath, Bristol, Melksham, Swindon areas.Regularly use this curry house as my local takeaway. I've eaten in a few times and it's pretty decent for a small town curry house. Takeaways are always pretty good. Very tasty and full of flavour.Having said that, they sometimes get the order wrong and the spice varies depending on what day you call. I regularly order a "Shorshee Meat Tikka" (which is delicious and highly recommended by the way), and used to order it "hot" which was fine for about 6 months, then all of a sudden it became as hot as a Vindaloo, so I lowered it back to the normal spice level and it's fine now. They have got the order wrong a few times, but nothing crazy and I am probably more picky than most. If they work on order accuracy and spice consistency, it would probably be a solid 4 star for a local.

Haques Indian has served Corsham very well for many years, now. I've ordered food from them many times, and have always been satisfied.I've taken time to speak to the owner many times too, over the years; his steady progression from a takeaway counter to also being a dine-in restaurant (with seating upstairs too! Great for a party-sized gathering!) has been wonderful to witness over time. You can tell that owner, Mr E Haque, is very proud, yet still humble, over his achievements, always crediting his most regular customers with his very survival and the opportunity to flourish. He's worked very hard to grow it, always within the guidance of the Council and Laws, fully earning his 5 Stars for cleanliness & food quality, etc. As he grew, he gave local youth the opportunity for part time work taking phone orders and greeting customers, etc, and I hear he's a fair employer, too.As a part of the local community, as a darn good outlet for authentic Indian food & cuisine, and as I find the owner to be an upright & honest man, I can only recommend Haques very highly.

Well priced, but the atmosphere wasn't great. The takeaway counter was literally behind us which was quite distracting and draughty, and the lighting was fairly unpleasant. Food was great, but probably better for takeaways than sit-in meals.
