These guys are a young lot who were genuinely cheerful and running what was a refreshingly happy light hearted chain pub. Very unlike what we were expecting. Great with a child's gluten allergy.Normally would expect sullen employees in a place like this which may be a bit of a generalisation.

Food was really nice and close to motorway. Set menu is really good value and arguably the desserts could be smaller! However they still have COVID restrictions so you need to wait to be escorted by a server to select the salad for you and they forgot about us...Overall it took us near 2 hours to complete our meal

I would love to give them 5 stars, however the speed and quality of service on a reasonably quiet day wasn't up to scratch.Having arrived at our book table at 13:00 we weren't spoken to by a server and offered drinks until 13:30 after I had to walk to the bar to ask about being served. We then didn't receive our food until 14:15.The food was really nice though and completely made up for being forgotten about.

Food was beautifully cooked & the service from Jazz was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble & she made our birthday family meal a great evening x x

Used to be our go to for cheap and cheerful dinners out.Our last visit was a complete put off. They still do your salad, fine but I had 3 pieces of lettuce and less than a tea spoon of coleslaw, and then given attitude when I asked if I could go up to the salad bar again. Then the food came out, I didn't get any of the usual bits on the plate just the burger and chips, the burger had no salad in at all and my plate just looked rather sad.So disappointed, I'd have got more if I had gone to McDonald's.We won't be back.

Had a great meal with my family. Staff were very welcoming they asked if we had any food allergys i said i had a allergy against chillies. They could not do enough to make sure all my food was all prepared separately. Well done to all the management and hard working staff thanks for a great evening

Amazing service, found the salad bar a bit depressing having to point at what I want instead of get it myself although the same spoon was used for each person but I understand the COVID measures. The food varied on our table althought we all ordered medium cooked steak each person's was different and the chicken results were similar ranging from dry to amazing so it's hard to give an accurate review. Although we could get the drinks ourselves which surprised me as we could all touch a self serve drink machine but not a dressing spoon there wasn't much else to complain about. Altogether was pretty good and will probably try again sometime.

We went for breakfast mainly because it was the easiest way to cater for the visiting children! There is a large carpark which makes finding a space easy, there’s also a lot of facilities nearby such as a Co-Op if you need a few bits.Wifi is available throughout the pub, as well as a couple of fruit machines. Access is easy with no steps and a wide entrance.Inside is quite spacey it was clean and well presented when we visited. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We were a little disappointed to find that due to supply issues pancakes were off the menu along with a few other items, however no blame for the staff or establishment here; it’s just the situation. Our server was very apologetic and friendly, we had a decent laugh with her about the situation. The food and service was decent I had the full English breakfast which I was very pleased with. There were also vegan breakfasts available and vegetarian breakfasts. The filter coffee was decent.Based on this experience I would recommend a visit.

Ended up in here after forgetting to book Toby carvery. The reception was great and the food was as expected of this type of place. I had the stilton burger. It was well cooked but not, what you would call, lovingly prepared. The cheese was slapped on a corner of the burger in one lump that hot you with a stilton wallop but didn't continue elsewhere in the burger.Still would return.

Was impressed with the service here, was very busy when we went due to it being start of Christmas party season. Bit desperate this the service was still pretty quick with great customer service. There was a wide choice on the menu whith an extra Christmas menu. Food was well cooked and very tasty!
