I used to be a regular. Customer of them back then when the food was of great quality and when they shared the same menu as spice of bengal, however in the last couple of years things have been steadily deteriorating to my great disappointment. Last weekend I decided to try them again and I can say that the food was absolutely dreadful, and tasted nothing like the dish I ordered. It was greasy, sauce was like it was the same one for all the dishes. I will not be using them again..

Avoid! ( I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN NOTICE OF THE BAD REVIEWS)I ordered hear last Wednesday for the First and Last time.Spent £35. £6 on papadums which were smashed to pieces.food arrived late and all completely cold, food was extremely Greasy and oily.On their website it says £5 off of orders over £25 when paying in cash, but when I asked to use this offer, I was told no they do not do this (it is still advertised on the website)

Our little gang affectionately call the Joy Balti our second home. Food is expertly prepared and the welcoming friendly service is second to none. Take away prices, bring your own drinks....always a winner. Calne needs to support this place!

Food was over 30 minutes late, I called twice to find out where it was and was told it is on it's way and be with you in 2-3 minutes (I live 5 minutes away); the saag aloo and aloo gobi were VERY salty, bland and cold; the tandoori mixed grill was luke warm and lacking in flavour; the paratha was rubbery and tasted as if it had been re-heated; the chicken tikka balti and special biriani were OK if lacking in spice. I know my indian food and after a day out I was looking forward to a tasty Indian takeaway. The meal came to nearly £50 and I am so so disappointed.

The food is great, not to busy and the staff are friendly. Also would recommend it and you take your own drinks acholic or not.

My lamb was fine but my other half received cold uncooked samosas and a poor quality gristly chicken leg. We had to order from the chinese in the end as the food was inedible. Straight in the bin.

Ordered here for 5 years and always been good till tonight. Absolutely horrendous and tried sending a email to them only to find out it's not a genuine email address. They've lost my custom from now on

Fairly nice food. Nothing special though. However you can sit in and bring your own drink with no corkage.

Very very poor. Pakora batter soft and doughy - not all all crispy. All curries very oily and greasy. And mixed frozen vegetables in all the curries and rices!!! Grumpy, disinterested and abrupt service.Do yourselves a favour, there are loads of good Indian restaurants in the area. Avoid this one.

Quite expensive compared to others in the area. The chicken tikka masala's were really watery and not very creamy. The guy on the phone read my order back to me to make sure it was correct, and it was. However when the order arrived it was incorrect. Didn't contact them to let them know though as we decided we won't order from there again.
