Great place for breakfast!

Really nicely cooked breakfast. Theses ladies are experts.

We enjoyed eating our excellent light lunch, sitting outside at this quiet location near the stream.

A lovely cosy cafe with good service and a compact menu of freshly made items. Nice riverside location, not to far from the main car parks (along the river) and some short term on street parking nearby. LBeautiful outside sitting area and a public garden adjacent.

Just wonderful, lovely people, easy atmosphere, fantastic breakfast and lunch. Lovely little outdoor area by the river for sunny lunches, and a cosy fire inside for snuggly hot chocolate with friends. One of my favourite places in Marlborough.Though...hard to leave without a chocolate crispy cake...bad habit!

Lovely little cafe in a picturesque local. Really lovely food is on offer with sandwiches, breakfast (till 11:00), omelettes even bigger meals. Only had a Bacon sandwich myself but my wife commented that the Chicken, Avocado and Bacon was fantastic.Service was great and the place very clean and tidy.

Visiting relatives nearby, and remembered having nice lunch here last year. Chose the turkey sandwiches with cranberry and stuffing. Didn't get asked if I'd like white or brown bread but it was getting near end of service. The sandwiches were very fresh tasting and generously filled. Cosy place, but not that busy whilst I was there on wet Saturday. It does get busy in the summer and people enjoy eating outside by the stream. Tables inside quite large with seats for 4 and 6, rather than 2s. Very happy to come back here when in Marlborough again.

Atmosphere and surroundings are nice but there were only two very over-worked staff during the lunchtime rush. The bacon and egg mayo baguette I ordered was sub-par and came with nothing on the side, no lettuce or crisps. The price should have come to 3.90 according to their menus but I was charged 5.00. My colleague was also charged 5.00 exactly, despite having a sandwich and a canned drink. It's seems suspiciously like they make the prices up on the spot. If this is actually the correct price, then they are absolutely over-charging for very mediocre fare. Then again, it's Marlborough... where the hell else are you going to go?

A gem of a place with awesome sandwiches. Sorry there are only four stars though...the coffee lets lunch down I'm afraid..even with extra shots, it doesn't taste of anything.Please consider different beans?!
