Langleys Fish and Chips in Wiltshire

Definitely gone downhill. Last trip there was Thursday when I took an elderly friend for a treat, yes we didn’t know they were closing at 9pm but there was no need for the girl waiting with the keys (clock watching) to run to the door as we pulled up right outside, get the old guy out and have the two girls and lad inside to ignore us both. We went to Station Road who were open, friendly, and great with the OAP. The youngsters in there need some Customer Service training, we’ll not be back.

Not sure whether it's changed hands recently, but gone massively downhill. Prices hiked up, portions smaller and chips soggy and disappointing. Look elsewhere people.

This is an unacceptable way of giving customer a meal, the oil was old which meant bad tasting food not happy

We have been going to this chip shop for years, but recently it’s gone downhill.Every week we order and something is missing and also wrong, they don’t answer the phone and then the place is closed.Portions have decreased and the younger staff are useless.It’s just too much hassle and you never come away with what you have paid for - especially with the price increase you would hope they would give you what you paid for

Awful! Burnt burger is an understatement, then ordered cod and they never put it in the bag! Watery curry sauce. Won't be going back again would give a lower rating if possible. So let down by them.

First visit. Very well organized for high volume service. Good Hake with a nice crispy batter. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Got a 1/2 burger and cheesy chips here, good quality food, friendly staff and well priced.

Want give this a -5 star never going back again after messing my order up walked found out they didn't put my pie walked told them and didn't even say sorry that's ok they got a better chip shop at station Hill so will be going there for now on

After waiting about 20 min for food with no explanation of why I was waiting, I finally got my food (only 2 meals with sides) and realised that parts of the meals had been sat wrapped for 20 min under a heat lamp.I'm confused about how a charge of £1.20 can be made for a portion of beans. Even more confused when I watched it being spooned from a can of supermarket beans worth about 30p. Confused again about how those beans could have been heated from an open metal can, into a polystyrene tub (turns out they weren't heated but, in fact, cold). Definitely confused when I got home to find my portion amounted to a tablespoon of cold beans for £1.20.I feel ripped off and won't be returning.

Fantastic example of a great fish and chip shop. The staff are friendly the fish is fresh and the portions are great. Pricing is good too and you get some great value for your money. Everything looks very nice and inviting clean and there is a car park nearby we can stop off and then just a short walk to get hereWe very much enjoyed our fish and chips
