Had tea n cake with a friend and what a relaxing enjoyable experience! Cake choice was fantastic! Lovely surroundings too.

Really nice place. Friendly, well-presented staff who were efficient and courteous. Products are truly beautiful. 10 out of 10 for scones and coffee, too!

We had coffee and cake in the restaurant today and we can highly recommend it.Nice coffee, thoroughly delicious coffee and walnut cake, comfortable chairs, and very good service. It was Saturday lunchtime so not surprising that it was very busy. Still plenty of helpful staff on though, so we could find nothing to fault the place.

Ìts a garden centre they sell plants and other stuff you didn't know you wanted. It's always been my preferred garden centre although getting a little pricey in some areas. Please don't get like Whitehall.Disappointed to see disabled parking on the other side of the car park. No disabled parking by the entrance so a struggle to get across carpark with your purchases. Not thought out very well. For that it can only be 4 stars

truly love Lowdens- delicious food and coffee. The only thing that needs improving are the vegan cakes which aren't nice. Falafel burger is great and the fact they do oat milk too, great atmosphere and lovely staff.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, good beef and pork they were outstanding. Vegetables tasty on yorkshire pudding nice and big. Fab gravy too. We waited 30min. Which was a touch long, but I rather that and get a hot fresh plate of food.

Visited here with my friend Monday 25th October. We enjoyed a superb breakfast. It was very busy, but we were seated straight away, served very quickly, food arrived piping hot, service with a smile and it was absolutely delicious. One of the best vegetarian breakfasts I've had, especially the veggie sausages.

Small centre but with some nice but very pricey things. Not very wheelchair friendly - aisles very narrow, some impassable and even though there are ramps many have a dip or hole in the ground before it. Ground outside is uneven in places too, lots of patched repairs by the looks. Restaurant adhering to social distancing so even though it looked like they had space to eat there would have been an hour's wait so didn't bother. Menu quite expensive as was the farm shop; produce on the shop looked very good and for those for whom money is no object, very tasty too I'm sure.

So, we booked a table at the restaurant this afternoon for my daughters birthday (Sunday roast sounded really good).I have got to say that it was probably the best Sunday roast we have had at a restaurant for years!!Everything was fresh and locally sourced, all homemade, brilliantly cooked and a perfect atmosphere. Great portion sizes too, even the sauces were homemade! You have to remember that this is a garden centre restaurant, not a Michelin starred restaurant but the food is incredible and extremely keenly priced.I have heard that the breakfast is incredible too and will be returning for one of those. The garden centre is awesome and there is also a fantastic farm shop with all the local meats and cheeses and a superb delicatessen.

Great staff great food try to reserve for lunch. Coffee you can turn up but be prepared to wait. Worth it for the cake! Lovely atmosphere. Expensive but good quality farm shop and gift shop.
