Lovely Victoria Sponge though the takeaway cups are coated in plastic rather than more sustainable options. You can taste the plastic in your tea.

Busy cafe. Nice cakes and lovely teas and coffees. It has a lovely outside seating area too. It's pretty basic but nice and clean.

We were a little disappointed, lovely location and attentive staff but the place was cold and the food far from fresh. It's a place I would not be in a hurry to visit again. Shame, because we drove from Stockbridge to see Laycock and take in its tea room.

This was a great place for ice cream on the hottest day of the year. The prices were very good with choice of cone or cup. There were 8 or 10 flavours on offer, all unique and ones I had not seen before, such as 'under the sea' which was a mix of blueberry and raspberry with chocolate chunks, and black currant clotted cream. I just wish they had a place in the shade as it was far too hot in the sun so we sat on the low stone wall of the Red Lion, opposite.

When I visited with a friend last Sunday afternoon the sandwiches did not buy sandwich as planned as such a dismal offering, but was stupid enough to buy a cup of tea (paper cup and considered undrinkable and thrown away) and a coffee. The outside picnic tables could do with a scrub and so many wasps attracted by residue that companion got stung. Pricing did not reflect offering. Get a take away icecream. Would not have given a single star if option was available.

Adjacent to small car park, not the main NT one. Few large tables outside. Very handy for toilets. Good selection of snacks. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Had a cuppa tea and a delicious piece of flapjack.

Lovely little place to chill out after a walk in Lacock or countryside. Has all that one would need, refreshments, picnic tables, picnic area, toilets. The pub is only few steps away if someone fancies a pint or some food. There's a playground too for the younger children to relax while the grownups are resting.

Friendly atmosphere with cute decor. This however was not enough to wash out the mediocre coffee.
