Lovely food with reasonable price, sometime can get quite busy during the weekend but it's worth the wait

Only giving 1 as cannot give 0. Just had fish & chips at 5.50pm on a Saturday eve. Have used this chip shop many times b4 without issue, BUT this was by far the worst fish & chips we've ever had. It was cold, chips were like cardboard, and fish batter was non crispy. Won't be rushing back!

I’ve only been here a few times, we changed fish and chip shops due to so many recommendations about this place.First time, couldn’t fault it. We turned up, ordered there and then and the service was quick and the food was delicious.We heard you could ring through your order, so we did this ahead of time. On the call we were given an order number but the line was so bad we couldn’t quite work it out. Before we had time to ask what it was, the line went dead. We turned up anyways, apologetic, but we were sure they’d be able to find our order. The lady serving us, went mad at us for forgetting the number. Shock her head and kept saying how was she supposed to know what we ordered. She was so unnecessarily rude and kept having digs throughout being served. It took her all of 3 seconds to find out what we ordered, which didn’t really add to the time at all. I can appreciate it gets busy and I understand the need for order numbers. If this is a crucial part of your service, you should have made that really clear on the phone. If someone forgets this number, there are other ways to remind people of this for future reference.Really gutted, we liked it here but that service was so shocking that I don’t think we can return.
