Great food and service. Lovely pub

I booked our table for 8 a week ago. Food brilliant and well organised by the only member of staff who I believe was Kirsty. Would recommend.

Old, traditional pub with very efficient & friendly service. Food was good as well, and the chef was genuinely very sorry & apologetic for forgetting a slice of haloumi on top of my burger. All forgiven, because this is a place with lovely people (staff and customers) that I am happy to recommend.

Arrived at 12pm, brilliant hosts and excellent food. This Is the third time we've been and will return again when next in the area. See you soon.

Nice pint and best pub lunch I've had for years.

My wife and I were in the Shrivenham area recently for a friends wedding and we spent two evening here at the Prince of Wales Pub. First night was for the grooms pre wedding drinks get together and the following afternoon and evening for thier reception. We left after these two events wishing this was 'Our local'......Set in a really nice little village, Really nice friendly pub, lovely open log fire, locals and staff where very welcoming.Good selection of beers !The food prepared for the reception was excellent and the staff could not do enough for everyone to make the day special for the Bride and groom and all the guests.We will definitely be back in the area in the future and this will be our go to pub for sure!!

An outstanding hostelry serving a great range of light snacks and meals backed up with some fine ales.Wonderful staff and a very amiable landlord.An excellent stop on our Bike Ride today with plenty of safe locking up space for a group of riders.

Food was very fresh. Also friendly staff

A really nice, friendly pub with charming staff and great food. The hand made pies were perfectly cooked, the local ale was very refreshing and the homemade gravy just topped it all off nicely.
