Very nice place with a good selection of cakes etc.

I feel like it is more of a cafe than a restaurant an eatery for little older ladies who do lunch the plates are small but the portions are smaller. A small piece of bread to go along with a cold soup.Still giving people soup then making them que letting the soup to get cold. I thought by now there would be a more well thought out plan but no they need action designed to achieve efficiency. The Thai curry didn't look like I expected there were a lot of peas and surprisingly it was served with a naan bread. The macaroni cheese looked as if it hadn't been made on the day and it had been reheated using the microwave.

A pleasant place to have a cup of tea and a snack. We will visit again, so by way of what I hope is constructive criticism -- the tea would benefit from being made with properly boiling water. I didn't notice where it came from but it wasn't very hot and very weak.- the ham and cheese toastie would have been much better had the cheese got hot enough to melt.- the excellent soup needed to be served hot, on this occasion it was barely tepid although our request for it to be blasted in the microwave was efficiently dealt with.I suspect we called on an off day.

needs music, good food and good service; lovely view of the cathedral though.

Good thing was the tea! That was a really good pot of tea. Not much selection of food, mainly left were toasties. Was a bit disappointed with staff as they seemed unwelcoming and couldn't be bothered. The lady who took our order even walked away from our son who has autism whilst he was giving her his order which we felt was very rude. The cream tea was ok, sons lunch box was ok. Nice place to sit and have a cuppa after a wander round the grounds.

This is a beautiful Cathedral with the best preserved Magna Carta. Extremely polite car park staff and security. Ticket staff are very cheerful. Very knowledgeable and helpful guides. We will go again once they open the access to the spire!

·

A regular destination for us due to it's cathedral location and delightful courtyard. Good choice of well presented snacks and meals with plenty of friendly staff. Often can be quite busy and I found the coffee not to my taste.

·

A lovely relaxing place to eat or drink with stunning views through the glass ceiling. Reasonable prices and good quality food on offer. All round a great experience.
