The food was very well cooked, tasted amazing and presented nicely. They accomadated for my wife's dietary requirements brilliantly, (gluten and dairy free) without affecting quality of the food. My complements to the chef.

On arrival was met with a lovely welcome after that it was down hill, waiting 25mins for 2 lemonades to arrive after having 3 waitresses/waiters ask if we'd been taken care of ( no communication between staff).Food was tasteless and order was wrong, sourdough bread was over done main orders was wrong, no taste to the food.My wife and I seem were always over looked/ forgotten about.Very unhappy with everything there, I'd describe it as an over priced harvester.

A pleasant and relaxed dining experience. Friendly wait staff, good food and quick service.Steak was cooked perfect and well seasoned - Typical MPW dining experience. Very much in the middle of nowhere but worth a visit if passing.

I would like to express to you our experience we had yesterday in your Salisbury branch. It was me and my wife’s 8th wedding year anniversary so I wanted to treat her to a nice meal as we don’t get out often without the kids etc, and I’ve been wanting to experience this restaurant since it opened. We had our table booked for 7.30pm.We went into the restaurant area there was no one to lead us to our table we didn’t know where to go so I walked over to the bar,the waitress could see us but instead she was looking at some mans phone at the bar and laughed and thought that was more interesting than helping us eventually she came over and she said she can help us and she got us seated eventually not a good start.for some reason all customers were squashed together when there was plenty of room to be all spreaded out so it wasn’t private at all and our actual table was tiny not a lot of room ,there was no atmosphere no music it felt very clicky, our personal waitress she was good by the way she was funny kind and knowledgeable and the food was fantastic couldn’t fault that it was lovely, the issue was the poor experience at the start and through out our meal so while we were eating the chef in the kitchen complaining about his hours and wages !!! Do I need to hear this ? Not very professional at all.also when we were eating we felt very rushed and not welcomed especially when I’m trying to eat and I’m smelling and tasting cleaning fluids so that put me off my meal and my wife’s meal, also closing the shutters down when we are having our pudding, when we asked for our bill we asked 3 times and was ignored more interested and cleaning down the tables than looking after us as we just wanted to pay and leave ASAP at that point, as we were not welcomed we were rushed poor atmosphere staff were rude and clearly not happy with hours and pay,the food was perfect our waitress was good but everything else was poor experience for us and was not £95 worth of experience either I’m afraid if the food and the experience was good then yes it would of been worth it but I don’t expect to eat steak and taste and smell strong cleaning fluids etc,I’m trying to talk to my wife and then I’m hearing the chef shouting about hours and wages, the lady at the bar at the start ignoring us,not knowing where to go,feeling unwelcomed,we would like a reply ASAP as feel very disappointed with our experience last night,I would not recommend here unfortunately.

The staff were lovely. Unfortunately the vegan option came with parmesan cheese on top. When informed, the chef's response was that parmesan cheese is vegan... which is slightly worrying as dairy is one of the 14 allergens and obviously not vegan.

A group of us are here quite a few times during our stay at the hotel. The service from the wonderful Dario was excellent on every occasion as were all the three waitresses that served us. The food was great value too, especially if you go with the set menus, I particularly enjoyed the Shepherds pie, and the the steak was great with the triple cooked chips. Great place and glad we got to eat here a few times.

Really good food, we had a varied spread between six of us and all enjoyed it. Staff were friendly, Maître d' was training a new waitress but still had time to make everything tick along. Will definitely be back

Our first visit and we chose to go for Sunday lunch on 23 May 21. The dining room is well presented, with a modern feel. I don't agree with the previous comment: it is nothing like a cafeteria. Sunday lunch is great value with 2 Courses for £19.95 and 3 course for £24.95. The traditional roasts were beef, pork and chicken, with a veggie option of gnocchi. We chose beef and it was very tender and a large portion. All roasts come with all the trimmings you would expect: roast potatoes; an enormous Yorkshire pudding; stuffing; carrots & peas; cauliflower cheese; red cabbage; pig in blanket; and gravy of course. A bigger gravy boat would be good but they were happy to provide another. We skipped starters but they sounded good and we went for a dessert. My apple crumble and ice cream was excellent and my wife really enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding. The staff were friendly and charming and our waitress was very attentive. If you enjoy a traditional Sunday lunch then I would highly recommend you try here. It is good quality, a pleasant atmosphere and good value.

Overall the food at this joint is very nice. Good taste, presentation etc... However when I went there with my family I believe I had a bit of a 'one off' meal. The first thing is that they didn't have the beer that we wanted. The second is that they brought one of my party the wrong meal and the final is that there was a piece of plastic in my sauce. The waiter was very nice about all of this though, and we got a fair discount off at the end. The restaurant itself is a very cosy modern style place and had some roof fans which both looked nice and kept the place cool (it was a fairly hot day). Although it was an eventful evening it was a pleasant experience.

First visit and was not a let down. All the staff were very professional and did a great job all round. The food one word fantastic couldn't fault it. We will be back for sure
