Great shakes, terrible wait time.

Thick creamy Dave milkshake. Uhmm

The only thing keeping this shop alive is its delicious milkshakes. It’s a good thing that this business doesn’t rely on customer service to be profitable as the service here is beyond awful.Never once have I been greeted nicely or informed how long the wait will be and I’m always made to feel like I’m an inconvenience to the miserable staff here. “Little Miss Boss” as printed on the receipt is by far the worst culprit as she clearly has no interest in serving any customers with any sort of pleasant experience.The only reason I return is because of the good shakes. It’s ironic as inspirational quotes are printed on the back of their uniform yet there is nothing inspirational about the level of service here.

Love the milkshakes always clean the male staff are nice but the 2 females that work together seem to lack customer service and never smile

I love going to shakeaway every now and then as a treat. Their shakes are absolutely delicious. Only thing keeping from 5 stars is alot of the time I get huge chunks of chocolate stuck in the bottom of my cup which I cant reach whilst in town, I have to wait until I get home to scoop them out with a spoon. I'm not sure if maybe more blending is needed or if some wooden spoons can be provided.

Slow, real slow.My little girl wanted to have a shake from here as they throw in anything you want so decided to see what the fuss was about.Now baring in mind it's a milkshake not a sit down 5 course meal we waited over half an hour (about 3-5 customers including us in total waiting). I would have left were it not for my little ones apetite for sweet things.The clientiel look as they certainly enjoy sweet things unfortunately so could do with some warnings (cal content on display) for good measure.I'ce cream and some chockie bars blended for 5.49...nope!Do better.

Not the best but by far not the worst....know what you want or the experience can be a long one. They will attempt to upsell your order, don't fall for it, the extras are just a waste and milkshakes don't need whipped cream.

Ever since having a dave I've been hooked making them at home and all sorts! Love to the employees!

In terms of the idea and product, Shakeaway is brilliant; but it’s too expensive. Also, customer service has not been very good in the 3 outlets I have visited. They don’t seem interested in the people they are serving, but are quite happy to leave customers standing around like lemons whilst they chat with their colleagues. Customer service in Reading was appalling - just a bunch of kids playing about. But they’ve paid the price for that and shut down.
