Dont buy from the outside facility selling baps , burgers etc.Quality is extremely poor.The guy serving is so tight that he slices a sausage in two longways making sure that your bap only contains 1.5 sausages and not 2.The bread is awful and dry.Absolutely mean and disgusting food

We were booked in for a meal on Mother's Day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our food arrived promptly and all course's were very well presented and delicious! All the Mums received complementary gift wrapped chocolates too! All in all excellent!

My husband had the Chicken Kiev which was great but I had the sausage and mash. The sausages were supposed to be flavoured with black pepper and with marmalade but they were bland and flavourless.... disappointing! Everything else about the place is great! Hoping the sausages improve!!!

Even the usual (these days) ill disciplined screaming children did not manage to spoil an excellent birthday lunch. Good food and acceptable pricing. It turned out that I had once worked with our server in another life but the service was excellent.

Coffee & Cake to die for! Visited this old friend after enjoying the Stourhead Gardens and enjoyed tea & coffee outdoors in the sunny courtyard. The lemon drizzle cake & the coffee & walnut cake are both highly recommended!

We wandered in out of the drizzle for a Sunday roast today and ate the most delicious meal we have ever tasted.. The service was excellent and the portions very generous. Without a doubt, this would be our first choice again! ♥️It is often rare to find a combination of excellently cooked food & a warm, friendly welcome. We had a wonderful meal here after the illuminated trail at Stourhead. Great roast options and vegan food. The hake with risotto was delicious. Really friendly helpful staff. Definitely recommend for nice food after a walk round stourhead.

We stopped here last year after the Chistmas lights at Stourhead and found it so idylic we immediately booked again for this year...yesterday. Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. First off the email to book warned us not to be more than 10mins late otherwise they would give our table away (I appreciate they don't need our costum but didn't makene feel very wanted), then we felt rushed with our starters arriving within minutes of ordering (before we even had our drinks) and main shortly after. Food was mediocre quality...nothing like last year and disappointing . Expensive for what it was and then we were asked when paying the bill if we would pay the 10% service charge...I appreciate it was voluntary but it's hard to say no when it's the waitress asking you in person! Think we will go somewhere else next year which is a shame :-(

Very good food and service. Almost didn't book as the food serving times on the website suggested an early finish time, which, it turned out, was out of date; fortunately, I phoned.
