Just stopped to stretch legs and have a quick drink on way home from Southampton. Not at all friendly, obviously do not like dogs, although no signs. Ordered drinks landlord rude so didn't bother staying, then get threatened that registration will be deleted. Maybe he was having a bad day? Lady was friendly

Great for a night's stay. The room was a bit small, but very clean. A river flows in front, beautiful scenery. Dinner was great - we had beer battered fish and chips. Breakfast was OK.

Don't avoid this pub just because it's on a major A road, lovely inside, clean tidy, good beer, friendly staff and although my wife and I haven't used the B&B facilities, looks a really good set-up.

the room was small, beds were small and uncomfortable, long corridors quite like a labrynth, breakfast was good, location was good, breakfast staff were a bit miserable, water ran cold before bath was full, would i stay again? probably not

Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our room, lovely clean and cute!Food was beautiful! I am fussy and just a simple ask there were accommodating for me!Wonderful fun and friendly atmosphere in the bar area!

Just come back from staying at this lovely friendly pub/hotel, run by a wonderful family with wonderful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone made us very welcome. The food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. You get quite a lot for your money. We will be back.

We visit this evening for a valentines/anniversary meal! Absolutely amazing food cooked to perfection and a brilliant portion. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff! Highly recommended will be returning for mothers day. Thank you 😊

Brilliant lunch. Food was excellent and very well cooked. We took advantage of their excellent 2 for 14.99 meals they do Monday-Thursday.

We called in for sunday roast and we were not dissappointed, choice of 3 meats plus about 6 veg inc cauliflower cheese, everything was delicious we will be calling again! Yummy well done everyone concerned, thank you.

Great food, I’m veggie and was/am delighted with the options. Also, good on the ale front, great welcome, nice independent family run pub/accommodation. Highly recommended. 5*Photo!s???? I got there at night time!!!!
